The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has made a big revelation regarding the BJP’s ‘bond scandal’. The AAP said that the Modi government and the BJP committed corruption worth lakhs of crores of rupees through electoral bonds in a well-planned manner. There are 45 suspicious companies which have donated Rs 1068 crore to the BJP which are either loss-making, or pay no taxes or who have donated way more than their profits. To allow such open corruption, the Modi government not only changed the rules of giving political donations, but also gave rebates of thousands of crores of rupees in tax to the companies in exchange of taking donations worth crores of rupees. The tax money spent on the development of the country and the people, which should have gone to the government treasury, went to the BJP’s account.

Addressing the media, Aam Aadmi Party’s senior leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh and Senior leader Shri Jasmine Shah said we are here to reveal how in a planned way Narendra Modi government, the BJP government in the last so many years clandestinely did corruption of thousands of crores of rupees. This corruption took place through electoral bonds by changing rules, giving tax exemption of thousands of crores of rupees, contracts worth lakhs of crores of rupees were given to companies and all this was going on behind the scenes.

The Rajya Sabha MP said I want to thank the Supreme Court that brought this corruption in front of the people of the country by sucking the data out.

Giving details of the donations made through electoral bonds to the BJP, Shri Sanjay Singh said, “There are 33 companies that incurred an aggregate loss of Rs 1 lakh crore in 7 years and these companies donated Rs 450 crore to the BJP through electoral bonds. Of the 33 companies, there are 17 companies that either paid zero tax or negative tax i.e. they got tax rebate. Another six companies that donated Rs 600 crore to the BJP, made donations that were many times more than their profits. One of them paid donation thrice their profit, how generous the company is. One company gave 93 times more than their profit. Another three companies donated Rs 28 crore and paid zero tax.”

He also gave the details of the 17 companies that donated generously to the BJP despite incurring losses and paying zero or negative tax. “Now, I’ll tell you in sequence. Qwik Supply Chain Private Limited has purchased electoral bonds worth Rs 410 crore and gave bonds worth Rs 375 crore alone to the BJP. This company has made a profit of Rs 144 crore. So it gave more then 3 times its profits as political donation to BJP. How?

There is a company Madanlal Limited. It bought electoral bonds worth Rs 185.50 crore and donated Rs 175.48 crore to the BJP, which is a whopping 93 times its profits! It earned a profit of just Rs 2.07 crore in seven years and got a tax rebate of Rs 3.11 crore.

Shri Sanjay Singh questioned where are the ED and the CBI now? “How many cases were filed? By creating these fake companies on paper, the money trail of hundreds of crores of rupees is clearly visible. Companies are donating crores of rupees to the BJP despite incurring losses,” he said.

Exposing the rhetoric of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, “Na khaoonga, na khane doonga (Neither I will take bribe, nor I will allow anybody)”, Shri Sanjay Singh said, “The most important thing in this is na khaoonga, na khane doonga. Modi ji said I will make the rules and allow bribery. I will collect corrupt donations for my party from the entire country as much as possible.”

Shri Sanjay Singh said that before 2017, there was a law in the country that a company that has made profits consecutively in the last three years can donate only 7.5% of its profits. This means that a loss-making company cannot donate and cannot donate many times more than its profit. It is clear that shell companies and fake companies cannot donate to any party. This means that that there was no scope for corruption under that rule if donations were made directly through cheque. After this, the Modi government asks the Election Commission what rules have been made. How will we do our corruption? They changed the rules in 2017. He (Modi) said that there is a BJP government, change the rules for corruption. The BJP’s hand is with corruption, big scandal of electoral bonds. In 2017, when the provision was being changed, the Election Commission opposed it and expressed its concern saying that it could open up the possibility of shell companies being set up for the sole purpose of making donations to political parties, added the Rajya Sabha MP.

The Rajya Sabha MP said the BJP must tell the entire country that how it caused loss of thousands of crores of rupees to the government exchequer by giving tax exemption to its donor and committed such a big scam changing rules.

Shri Sanjay Singh said Prime Minister Modi must tell the people of India how a loss has been caused by giving tax rebates worth thousands of crores of rupees. How this big scam has been done by changing the rules, which could not have happened before 2017. To commit the electoral bond fraud, the BJP changed the rules and there is little morality left in the Bharatiya Janata Party. This is the most corrupt party of the country. Since the independence of India till today, if there is any most corrupt party on this earth, then the name of that corrupt party is Bharatiya Janata Party, Bangaru Janata Party and the people of that party have played such a big fraud, he added.

The senior AAP leader demanded that the ED and the CBI should immediately interrogate these companies and the BJP leaders; arrests should be made, and action should be taken. If action is not taken, then we will take further course of action, he added.

Shri Sanjay Singh said that Modi ji says that he has shut three lakh fake companies in the country. I want to ask PM Modi, then which are these companies, which we do not know, that exist only on paper and have given donations to you.

The Rajya Sabha MP said in Tamil Nadu, the police caught bundles of notes worth Rs 4.50 crore. When asked, the person carrying the money said that he had got it from Delhi and was going to give it to the BJP candidate. Now let the ED and the CBI go after those people, expose the BJP. How did the bundles reach Tamil Nadu from Delhi?
