मंदिर के लिए जमीन मांगे जाने संबंधी मुख्यमंत्री के पत्र का केंद्रीय शहरी विकास मंत्री ने अब तक नहीं दिया जवाब: संजय सिंह
मंदिर निर्माण के लिए जमीन न देने पर देशभर में आंदोलन की चेतावनी, डीडीए ने कोर्ट को गुमराह किया
नई दिल्ली : पार्टी कार्यालय में आम आदमी पार्टी के राज्यसभा सदस्य संजय सिंह, सामाजिक कार्य मंत्री राजेंद्र पाल गौतम, विधायक अंबेडकर नगर अजय दत्त व करोलबाग विधायक विशेष रवि ने प्रेस वार्ता की। इस दौरान संजय सिंह ने कहा कि डीडीए ने संत रविदास जी के मंदिर को तोड़ा इससे करोड़ों लोगों की भावनाएं आहत हुई हैं। समाज कल्याण मंत्री राजेंद्र पाल गौतम ने इस मामले पर प्रधानमंत्री को पत्र लिखा। उनसे बार-बार निवेदन किया कि डीडीए को मंदिर निर्माण के लिए जमीन आवंटित करने को निर्देशित किया जाए। मुख्यमंत्री ने 11 सितंबर को केंद्रीय शहरी मंत्रालय हरदीप पुरी को पत्र लिखा। आज तक जवाब नहीं मिला। मैं आज फिर उनको पार्टी के राज्यसभा के तीनों सदस्यों की ओर से पत्र लिख रहा हूं। उनसे मिलने का समय मांग रहा हूं। यह मसला सुप्रीम कोर्ट पहुंचा है। केंद्र सरकार वहां भी इस मामले उलझा रही है। इससे साफ है कि संत रविदास मंदिर तोड़ने में भाजपा का भी सहयोग रहा है। लेकिन, आम आदमी पार्टी दृढ़संकल्प है कि मंदिर का निर्माण होगा। भाजपा एक राम मंदिर बनाने का नारा लगाती है, वहीं संत रविदास के मंदिर को बनाने की बात आती है तो भाजपा बहाने बनाती है। ये तो भाजपा के लिए दो मिनट का काम है। सुप्रीम कोर्ट में सोमवार को भी केंद्र सरकार ने सुप्रीम कोर्ट में अपना रुख स्पष्ट नहीं किया।
समाज कल्याण मंत्री राजेंद्र पाल गौतम ने कहा कि डीडीए ने जब मंदिर तोड़ने की कोशिश की तो मजबूरी में संत रविदास मंदिर समिति को हाईकोर्ट जाना पड़ा। जहां स्थानीय कमीश्नृ ने अपनी रिपोर्ट में माना कि 1948 में यह कमेटी पंजीकृत हुई थी। उसके पहले से यहां मंदिर था। 1959 में नवनिर्मित मंदिर का शिलान्यास बाबू जगजीवन राम जी ने किया था। भाजपा चाहती तो मंदिर को बचाया जा सकता था। 11 अगस्त को मैंने मंदिर तोड़े जाने पर प्रधानमंत्री को पत्र लिखा था। जिसमें आग्रह किया था कि दलित समाज के करोड़ों लोगों की आस्था के प्रतीक इस जगह को मंदिर समिति को सोंप दें। जिससे भव्य मंदिर का निर्माण हो सके। उनकी तरफ से या केंद्र सरकार की तरफ से कोई जवाब नहीं आया। 18 अगस्त को भाजपा मुख्यालय पर प्रदर्शन हुआ। 21 अगस्त को देशभर में प्रदर्शन हुए। 22 अगस्त को विधानसभा से संकल्प पत्र पारित होने के बाद भी कोई केंद्र सरकार से कोई सकारात्मक जवाब नहीं आया। दिल्ली सरकार के कानून मंत्री भी इस मसले पर पूरा कानूनी पक्ष रख चुके हैं। समिति जमीन को डी-नोटिफाइड कराना चाहती है तो वह लीगल फार्मेट में वन विभाग को आवेदन कर सकती है। जिसे दिल्ली सरकार का वन मंत्रालय केंद्रीय पर्यावरण मंत्रालय को भेजेगा। इसी को ध्यान में मैंने केंद्रीय शहरी विकास मंत्रालय और डीडीए को पत्र लिखा लेकिन आज तक कोई जवाब नहीं आया। इससे भाजपा सरकार की मानसिकता झलकती है। भाजपा संत रविदास मंदिर का निर्माण बनाना नहीं चाहती। मैं निवेदन करता हूं कि केंद्र सरकार मंदिर निर्माण में एक कदम आगे बढ़े। दिल्ली सरकार चार कदम आगे बढ़े। राजेन्द्र जी ने ये भी कहा कि इसपर राजनीति न हो। मंदिर निर्माण में प्रदर्शन करने वाले 96 लोग अब भी जेल में है। उनकी जमानत नहीं हुई है। वह बेकसूर हैं। पुलिस के पास रिकार्डिंग है। उस आधार पर जांच हो। जिन्होंने गलत किया, उनके खिलाफ कार्रवाई हो लेकिन बेकसूर को रिहा किया जाए।
विधायक अजय दत्त ने कहा कि यह मंदिर छह साल पुराना था। इस मंदिर को इसलिए तोड़ा गया ताकि दलितों का इतिहास खत्म हो। कोर्ट में डीडीए ने गलत तथ्य रखे थें। कोर्ट को बताया गया था कि यहां कोई मंदिर नहीं था। इसके खिलाफ शांतिपूर्ण आंदोलन करने वालों को मारा-पीटा गया। बच्चों को जेल भेज दिया गया। ऐसी-ऐसी धाराएं लगा दी गई, जिससे उनकी जमानत न हो सके। अजय दत्त ने कहा कि मेरी भाजपा की केंद्र सरकार से अपील है कि वह अगर दलित विरोधी नहीं है तो जमीन दिला दे। मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल ने साफ कर दिया है कि जमीन मिलते ही इस जगह पर भव्य मंदिर का निर्माण होगा। मंदिर की जमीन नहीं दी गई तो पूरे देश में विरोध-प्रदर्शन होगा। यह चालीस करोड़ दलितों की भावा का सवाल है।
करोल बाग से आप विधायक विशेष रवि ने कहा कि सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने मंदिर तोड़ने का आदेश नहीं दिया था। मंदिर के आसपास के अतिक्रमण को हटाने का आदेश था। जिसकी आड़ में भाजपा सरकार के इशारे पर डीडीए ने मंदिर को तोड़ दिया। मेरी केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री से मांग है कि इस मामले में एसआईटी गठित कर जांच हो। दोषी लोगों पर कार्रवाई की जाए।

We will go for nationwide agitation for not providing land to build up the temple, DDA misled the court-AAP

The Aam Aadmi Party has slammed the BJP for the demolition of Sant Ravidas temple on behalf of Delhi Development Authority (DDA). The party has also accused the BJP of being anti-Dalit. The AAP urged the Union Urban Development Ministry and DDA Vice President to provide land for the construction of the temple. The AAP leaders nationwide agitation if the land is provided for building up the temple.
In this regard, AAP’s Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Singh, Social Welfare Minister Rajendra Pal Gautam, MLA from Ambedkar Nagar Ajay Dutt and Karol Bagh MLA Visesh Ravi held a press conference at the party office on Tuesday.
During this, MP Sanjay Singh said, “The DDA broke the temple of Sant Ravidas ji, it hurt the sentiments of crores of people. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Social Welfare Minister Rajendra Pal Gautam wrote a letter to the Prime Minister on the matter. He was repeatedly requested to direct the DDA to allot land for the construction of the temple. The Chief Minister also wrote a letter to Union Urban Ministry Hardeep Puri on 11 September. He has not replied till today. I am again writing a letter on behalf of the three members of Rajya Sabha today and asking for an appointment with him. This issue has reached the Supreme Court. The central government is also complicating the matter there.”
MP Sanjay Singh further said, “The BJP has been instrumental in breaking the Sant Ravidas temple. But, the AAP is determined that the temple will be built. The BJP shouts slogans for building the Ram temple, while the BJP makes excuses when it comes to building the temple of Sant Ravidas. This is a two-minute work. In the Supreme Court on Monday, the central government did not clarify its stand on the matter.”
Social Welfare Minister Rajendra Pal Gautam said, “When the DDA tried to break the temple, Sant Ravidas Temple Committee had to go to the High Court under compulsion. Where the local commissioner admitted in his report that this committee was registered in 1948. Before that, there was a temple here. In 1959, the foundation stone of the newly constructed temple was laid by Jagjivan Ram Naj. If the BJP wanted, the temple could have been saved. On 11 August, I wrote a letter to the Prime Minister on the demolition of the temple. I told him in the letter that the temple was a symbol of faith for crores of people from the Dalit community and urged him to give the land to build up the temple to temple committee.”
Minister Rajendra Pal Gautam also said, “There was no response from his side or the central government. On 18 August, there was a demonstration at the BJP headquarters. There were demonstrations across the country on 21 August. Even after the resolution letter was passed from the Legislative Assembly on 22 August, no positive response came from the central government. The Law Minister of Delhi Government has also put full legal support on this issue. If the committee wants the land to be de-notified, it can apply to the forest department in a proper legal format. Which will be forwarded by the Forest Department of Delhi Government to the Union Ministry of Environment. Keeping this in mind, I wrote a letter to the Union Urban Development Ministry and the DDA, but till date, there is no response. This reflects the mindset of the BJP government. The BJP does not want to build the Sant Ravidas temple. I request that the Central Government go one step ahead in the construction of the temple. There should be no politics on this. Nearly 96 people who protested against the demolition of the temple are still in jail. They have not been granted bail. Police should investigate based on records and punish the people who have done wrong.”
MLA Ajay Dutt said, “This was a very old temple. This temple was demolished so that the history of Dalits ends. The DDA kept false facts in the court. The court was told that there was no temple there. Peaceful agitators were beaten up against it and children were sent to jail. I appeal to the BJP’s central government to provide land if the BJP is not anti-Dalit. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has made it clear that a grand temple will be constructed at this place as soon as the Delhi govt gets the land. If the land of the temple is not given, there will be protests across the country.”
MLA Visesh Ravi said, “High Court did not order the temple to be demolished. There was an order to remove encroachments around the temple. Under that order, the DDA broke the temple at the behest of the BJP government. I demand from the Union Home Minister that an inquiry should be done in this matter by setting up SIT. Action should be taken against the guilty.”
