Senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and Rajya Sabha MP, Shri Sanjay Singh, ignited fervor among supporters during a resounding ‘Sankalp Sabha’ in Palam, within the South Delhi Lok Sabha constituency. Amidst a sea of enthusiastic attendees rallying behind AAP and INDIA Alliance candidate, Shri Sahiram Pehalwan, the Rajya Sabha fervently administered an oath to prioritize ‘jail ka jawaab vote se’ while casting ballots across all seven seats of Delhi on May 25. Shri Sanjay Singh asserted the urgency of upholding democratic principles, cautioning against divisive tactics employed by PM Modi’s for the electoral benefits. Emphasizing the restoration of justice and the reclamation of the nation’s wealth, Shri Sanjay Singh urged citizens to remain steadfast in addressing fundamental issues such as electricity, water, health, and education, and to collectively rebuff any attempts at authoritarianism through the power of the ballot box.
While addressing the gathering, Senior AAP Leader and Rajya Sabha MP Shri Sanjay Singh said that I have come to seek public support against the dictatorship prevailing in the country. Today, the son of Delhiites is in jail. In the last 9 years, Shri Arvind Kejriwal has served you as your brother and your son. It is because of the work of Shri Arvind Kejriwal that we can say with pride that if the Kejriwal government has worked to provide free education, health, electricity, water, pilgrimage to the elderly, bus travel for mothers, sisters and daughters to your children, then vote for him. A scheme to give ₹1,000 per month to mothers and sisters is being implemented and it will be completed, if you have faith in this, then vote for the AAP.
The AAP Rajya Sabha MP said that when Arvind Kejriwal resigned after running the government for 49 days, the BJP members were saying that Kejriwal had run away. Now when Shri Arvind Kejriwal wants to work, the BJP members are saying that he should resign. When Shri Arvind Kejriwal has shown good work, the BJP members are not able to digest it and now they want his resignation. Shri Arvind Kejriwal was, is and will remain the Chief Minister. The BJP people want Shri Arvind Kejriwal to resign and the one who did injustice to wrestler daughters will not resign. Union Home Minister (State) Ajay Mishra’s son crushed four farmers to death, he will not resign. Violence has been going on in Manipur for a year, women were paraded naked, he will not resign. Shri Arvind Kejriwal is working for the children, he should resign. Shri Arvind Kejriwal will never resign. BJP people are also unhappy with Modi ji’s work, they are also saying that Shri Arvind Kejriwal should not have been arrested.
Shri Sanjay Singh mentioned that Modi ji has panicked after the first phase of elections. Modi ji has become afraid of the defeat of the BJP. That is why the BJP is now trying to divert the attention of the public. Now the Prime Minister is dividing the public by giving absurd statements. Modi ji is saying that he will distribute the property. Adani is the closest friend of Modi. Modi ji has given the entire India including coal, electricity, water, steel, roads, ports, airports to Adani. He gave a loan of ₹2.5 lakh crores to Adani. He waived off the loan of ₹15 lakh crores from his friends. Nirav Modi ran away after looting ₹20,000 crores from the banks, Vijay Mallya ran away with ₹10,000 crores, Lalit Modi ran away with ₹3,000 crores. All the close friends of Narendra Modi have looted the country. If the INDIA Alliance government is formed, then the property looted from each and every dishonest person will be taken back and distributed among the common man.
“Now the constitution of the country is also in danger. This is the last election. If Modi Ji comes to power after this election, he will end the power of voting. Many BJP candidates are saying to give the BJP 400 seats, we want to change the constitution. As long as we are alive, we will not let the constitution written by Baba Saheb be changed. BJP won in Surat without elections. The example of Surat is the beginning of changing the constitution. If they win even by mistake, they will end elections from the whole country. They will end reservation and end the constitution. You have to stick to the basic issues including electricity, water, health and education of your children, do not deviate,” the AAP Rajya Sabha stated.
The AAP Rajya Sabha MP shared that the BJP and the central government are strangling democracy every day. Their dictatorship has increased so much that the ministers of the Delhi government are not being allowed to meet their Chief Minister inside the jail. The Prime Minister and the LG office are keeping an eye on CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal 24 hours a day through CCTV. After all, what enmity is Prime Minister Modi taking revenge from Shri Arvind Kejriwal? Imagine an elected Chief Minister had to fight for 23 days to get insulin. The people of BJP want to break the morale of Shri Arvind Kejriwal by doing this, but Shri Arvind Kejriwal is not one of those who bow down and break.
During this, AAP and INDIA Alliance candidate Shri Sahiram Pehalwan appealed to the public and said that due to fear of defeat, the BJP put your popular Chief Minister in jail. If you want to continue public welfare schemes like free electricity, free water, free travel in buses for sisters and daughters, free pilgrimage for the elderly and assistance of ₹1,000 to women every month, then you will have to strengthen the hands of CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal and fight for him.
It’s noteworthy that the Aam Aadmi Party is organizing more than 200 ‘Sankalp Sabhas’ through the campaign ‘Jail ka Jawab Vote Se’ in entire Delhi. During the ‘Sankalp Sabha’ organized in Palam Assembly constituency, MLAs B.S. Joon, Rituraj Jha, Bhavna Gaur and Councilor Ajay Rai and all the workers of the organization were present.
