NEW DELHI, April 16

In a powerful demonstration of unity and support for Delhi Chief Minister Shri Arvind Kejriwal’s fight against a tyrannical party at the Centre, the Chhatra Yuva Sangharsh Samiti (CYSS), the student wing of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), successfully conducted the ‘Mashaal March’ on 16 April, drawing hundreds of students from across Delhi University.

The march, which began from the Arts Faculty and culminated at the Vishwavidyalaya Metro Station, served as a resounding endorsement of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s leadership and policies, as well as of his stature as an honest and unwavering leader against the corruption and oppression under the present government at Centre.

The CYSS is also running a signature campaign at various colleges in the university. The campaign aims to highlight and address the challenges posed by the current political environment and the misuse of government machinery.

AAP youth leader Vandana Singh said all the students of Delhi University marched against the illegal arrest of Arvind Kejriwal. “Arvind Kejriwal left his IRS job and risked everything to serve the people. After becoming the Chief Minister of Delhi, he did a lot of work for the welfare of the people of Delhi that included improving the condition of government schools and hospitals. A sitting Chief Minister has been arrested just before the elections. This is a big betrayal with the country’s democracy. The youth and students of this country have come out on the streets against this dictatorship. The youth of the country stand with Arvind Kejriwal,” she said.

The CYSS stands unwavering in its commitment to fostering a transparent and just government led by Chief Minister Shri Arvind Kejriwal, under which, Delhi saw unprecedented work in all areas like health, education, water, electricity, public transport and financial growth. The organisation reaffirms its solidarity with the Chief Minister, praising his unwavering dedication to public service and his vision for an equitable society.

As the signature campaign progresses, the CYSS continues to engage with students and the community, ensuring that the voice of the youth is not only heard but also plays a pivotal role in shaping the future political landscape of India.
