Porvorim | AAP MLAs Capt Venzy Viegas and Engr Cruz Silva along with AAP Goa President Valmiki Naik today said that BJP is falsely stating that Goa has the lowest tariffs in electricity in India. They accused Pramod Sawant of being unware that 90% of Punjab domestic consumers get Zero electricity bills and said Goans also deserve Zero bills.
AAP MLAs Capt Venzy Viegas and Engr Cruz Silva today also rushed the well demanding relief for Goans from high electricity bills.
As a severely truncated Monsoon Assembly Session comes to a close AAP MLAs Capt Venzy Viegas and Engr Cruz Silva showed Goa what it was like to have two honest MLAs. They spent the last three days cornering the BJP on Forced E20 Petrol, High electricity bills, 39A, failed Law and Order, Environmental illegalities, IDC scam, Regularisation of Contractual workers and the challenges faced by farmers, fishermen, motorcycle pilots, youth and the common Goans
Valmiki Naik stated that for the last three days all the headlines have been Law and Order. Whether the shootout or the intimidation of some police officers to restaurant. Naik stated that it seems that these officers have learnt intimidation from Pramod Sawant who has attempted to intimidate even our MLA by saying he will be arrested.
Captain Venzy Viegas highlighted the IDC scam, Price rise, the status of Contractual works & illegal sand dune destruction that has been going on his assembly.
Both MLAs highlighted how forced E20 petrol was impacting Goans and demanded a resolution to provide Goans a choice between Pure Petrol and E20.
Engr Cruz Silva highlighted the faulty alignment of the Dandewaddo highway and empty posts of the police. He also brought to the house’s attention the pollution that is spoiling the quality of fish and oysters thats directly impacting fisher persons.
He stated that while questions around NDA and 39A were not taken up but both MLAS tried their best to highlight it.
