Former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Minister Manish Sisodia, the father of Delhi’s education revolution, received a hero’s welcome in his assembly constituency Patparganj’s West Vinod Nagar on Saturday during the second day of his padyatra. A huge crowd of people gathered in the padyatra that started from Greater Kailash and reached West Vinod Nagar on August 16. This padyatra started from Rajendra Park Shanti Marg in West Vinod Nagar and ended late at night at Shriram Chowk in Mandawali.
A massive crowd greeted him with garlands and posters reading ‘Welcome Back Manish Sisodia,’ as he embraced the people and took their blessings. Children beamed with joy, celebrating the return of their beloved ‘Manish Uncle,’ who transformed their schools. Amid the cheers, anger simmered against the BJP, who conspired to derail Delhi’s education progress by imprisoning Manish Sisodia on false charges.
During this, people raised slogans of ‘Manish Sisodia has come – Arvind Kejriwal ji will come, we have worked- we will work’. On this occasion, AAP MLA from Kondli Kuldeep Kumar, MLA from Timarpur Dilip Pandey, local councilors and senior leaders along with a large number of workers were present.
During the padyatra, Manish Sisodia said that after 17 months, I have come among my brothers and sisters of Patparganj. The BJP tried its best to keep us in jail till the Delhi assembly elections. But it is the grace of Lord Hanuman, Ram and Devi Maa that all their conspiracies failed. And today the locks of the jail have broken. Now God has taken me out. If your prayers remain with us and God’s grace remains, then just like you pulled me out of jail, Arvind Kejriwal will also come out very soon.
Manish Sisodia continued, “Never before has such a crisis come in the country’s politics that a party sitting in the center uses central investigation agencies like Enforcement Directorate and Central Bureau of Investigation (ED-CBI) to put all the leaders of a state party in jail and put false cases on them. But their lies were exposed and God slapped the conspirators in the court. The Constitution has slapped them. These people applied the same laws on me and Arvind Kejriwal that are applied on terrorists and drug smugglers. They sent me and Arvind Kejriwal to jail by filing false cases so that just like terrorists and drug accused don’t get bail, we too won’t get bail by applying those sections on us. But God may be late but he can’t be unjust.
“God has blessed our country and Baba Saheb has written such a constitution that if any dictatorial government comes and makes false allegations against opposition parties and businesspersons and misuses the laws applicable on terrorists and smugglers, then the constitution and the court will save us. Today the Supreme Court, Baba Saheb and God gave their blessings and most of all Hanuman Ji gave his blessings. When Hanuman Ji’s mace strikes, even the best of people fall down. These black laws of ED-CBI also fell down in the same way. And God sent me among you. I am among you. In these adverse circumstances, our government did not let any work of the people of Delhi stop. The party stood completely united. Neither did the government break nor did the work stop. Now I will get all the work done which is stopped,” he affirmed.
Manish Sisodia further said that the people of Delhi are giving me a lot of love. People are full of enthusiasm everywhere. Many people are saying that we were sitting in our homes and praying for you and Arvind Kejriwal. People are saying that you have come, now Arvind Kejriwal will also come out soon. God will hear our prayers and truth will prevail. After 17 months I have met my family, the love that people have for me is now overflowing.
During this, AAP MLA Kuldeep Kumar said that the people of Delhi have sounded the election bugle. After Manish Sisodia came out, the workers have got a new energy. The false propaganda spread by BJP has been exposed. While granting bail, the Supreme Court has clearly asked who will return Manish Sisodia’s 17 months? He was kept in jail by filing a false case. Now Sisodia is going among the people and meeting his supporters and children. There is a different enthusiasm among the people about him.

Delhiites were in anguish by Manish Sisodia being sent to jail
After 17 months, people of West Vinod Nagar were elated to see Manish Sisodia among them. People gave him a rousing welcome and said that the Kejriwal government is doing good work for them. Manish Sisodia and other leaders were sent to jail as part of a conspiracy. A woman said that Manish Sisodia is personally meeting people and telling them about the achievements of the Kejriwal government and that he is doing good work in Delhi. It is a big thing for Manish Sisodia to go from street to street and meet people. This is not done by leaders of other parties. AAP leaders meet each person and ask about their problems. Manish Sisodia was framed and sent to jail as part of a conspiracy, but now he is out.

Manish Sisodia started the day by praying at Kalka Mandir
Earlier, on Saturday morning, Manish Sisodia reached Kalkaji Mandir and prayed to Kalka Devi and wished for the welfare and peace of the entire Delhi and the people of the country. Manish Sisodia said that we Delhiites consider Kalkaji as the queen of the entire country. After coming out of jail, today I came to bow my head at the feet of ‘Kalka Mai’ (Mother Kalka). I have prayed to Kalka Mata that if we have committed any mistake, she should forgive us. I had prayed while I was in jail and people had prayed a lot for me outside. I have thanked God for listening to the prayers of the people of Delhi. I hope that with the blessings of Kalka Maa, Arvind Kejriwal, who is working for the development of the country, will also come out of jail very soon. He will also be blessed by the Mata soon. Then we will come here together to bow our heads.
