नई दिल्ली : कांग्रेस के मजबूत स्तम्भ, चांदनी चौक से चार बार विधायक और पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री के विधानसभा सचिव रहे प्रहलाद साहनी रविवार को मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल की मौजूदगी में आम आदमी पार्टी में शामिल हो गए। उनके साथ कांग्रेस के पूर्व पार्षद पवन प्रेम वाणी, मजनू का टीला वार्ड, और चांदनी चौक विधानसभा से कॉंग्रेस के 4 ब्लॉक में से तीन के अध्यक्ष आज आप में शामिल हुए।
इस दौरान मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल ने कहा, मुझे आज बेहद खुशी है कि प्रहलाद साहनी जी अपने पूरे दल, बल के साथ, अपने सभी साथियों के साथ, आम आदमी पार्टी में शामिल हो रहे हैं। मैं आम आदमी पार्टी में उनका और उनकी पूरी टीम का स्वागत करता हूं और मुझे यकीन है कि उनके आने से पार्टी के काम को और जनता की सेवा करने में जो हम लोग लगे हुए हैं उस काम को बहुत बल मिलेगा।

मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा, आज दूसरी पार्टियों में भी बहुत सारे अच्छे अच्छे लोग हैं जो आम आदमी पार्टी की तरफ देख रहे हैं। मैं प्रहलाद साहनी जी का तहे दिल से स्वागत करता हूं और मैं देश के सभी अच्छे लोगों से अपील करता हूं चाहे वह किसी भी पार्टी में हैं कि अब यह मौका आ गया है सभी अच्छे लोग अपनी अपनी पार्टियाँ छोड़कर जिस प्रकार से प्रहलाद साहनी जी आए हैं वह सभी आम आदमी पार्टी में आए।
पूरी दिल्ली में अरविंद केजरीवाल के काम की चर्चा: प्रहलाद साहनी
प्रहलाद साहनी ने कहा, आज मैं इस पार्टी में आया हूं ना मेरा किसी से कोई लालच है ना मैं कहीं टिकट की ख़्वाहिश रखता हूं। केजरीवाल साहब और उनकी पार्टी ने दिल्ली में जो काम किए हैं मैं अपने इलाके में कहीं भी जाता हूं तो लोग उछलकर कहते हैं की यह तो लिखते हैं कि बिजली का बिल हाफ और पानी माफ लेकिन हमारे यहां बिजली का बिल भी माफ है। एक एक इलाके में 25 25 गज के मकान बने हुए हैं चार चार मंजिल मकान है लेकिन बिल किसी के नहीं आ रहे हैं।
केजरीवाल जी को उनके जीत की एडवांस में मुबारकबाद: प्रहलाद साहनी
प्रहलाद साहनी ने कहा, मैं बड़ा हैरान होता हूं कि एक IRS ऑफीसर दिल्ली के लोगों की समस्याओं से किस तरह से वाकिफ है। दिल्ली में इन्होंने जो काम किए हैं शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में चिकित्सा के क्षेत्र में बिजली पानी के क्षेत्र में ऑटो रिक्शा वालों के लिए जितने भी काम किए हैं आज किसी भी इलाके में जाओ लोग खुद बोलते हैं कि हम तो केजरीवाल को वोट देंगे। मैं केजरीवाल साहब को एडवांस में मुबारकबाद देना चाहता हूं हो सकता है इस बार आप पहले से भी ज्यादा वोटों से जीत कर आए। आने वाले समय में इनकी छत्रछाया में, इनके साथ मिलकर पार्टी के लिए काम करूँगा।
मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल ने कहा, कई पार्टियाँ सत्ता में आकर रास्ते से भटक जाती है। लेकिन आम आदमी पार्टी आज भी जनता के काम में जुटी है। हमने ऐसे काम किए जिसे देश नहीं पूरी दुनिया देख रही है। जिसे पूरी दुनिया के लिए नजीर माना जा रहा है। हम छह माह में तीन लाख सीसीटीवी कैमरे लगा रहे हैं। एक साथ दो लाख स्ट्रीट लाइट लगा रहे हैं। एक लाख मोहल्ला क्लीनिक पांच साल में बना दिए। यह सब काम दुनिया में पहली बार हुआ है। इन्हीं काम के कारण दूसरी पार्टी के लोग आम आदमी पार्टी की तरफ देख रहे हैं।
दिल्ली से आम आदमी पार्टी के राज्य सभा सांसद और दिल्ली चुनाव प्रभारी संजय सिंह ने प्रहलाद साहनी का परिचय देते हुए कहा, दिल्ली के अंदर कांग्रेस पार्टी में एक मजबूत स्तम्भ के रूप में स्थापित प्रहलाद साहनी जी जो चार बार विधायक रह चुके हैं एक बार पार्षद रह चुके हैं मुख्यमंत्री के पार्लियामेंट्री सेक्रेट्री रह चुके हैं ऐसे एक मजबूत स्तम्भ कांग्रेस पार्टी के आज आम आदमी पार्टी परिवार का हिस्सा बन रहे हैं यह हम सबके लिए बहुत प्रसन्नता और खुशी की बात है।

New Delhi: Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal welcomed four term Congress MLA Prahlad Singh Sawhney to the Aam Aadmi Party today. The former Congress MLA said he is dedicated to working for the welfare of the people through the AAP.
Welcoming Prahlad Sawhney and his team to the party, the Chief Minister said, “I would like to welcome Prahlad Sawhney ji with all my heart. I hope that the party’s work towards serving the people will be strengthened through his participation.”
Appeal to good leaders from all parties to join AAP in national interest: CM Arvind Kejriwal
Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said, “There are a lot of good leaders in other parties who are looking towards Aam Aadmi Party. I wholeheartedly welcome Prahlad Sawhney ji and I appeal to all the good leaders of the country, irrespective of the party they belong to, to join AAP in the interest of the nation.”

The provision of cheap water and electricity has been especially impactful with most people in my area getting zero bills for electricity.”

The Chief Minister also spoke about how good and dedicated leaders should join the AAP to take the devotion of public service forward, “We have seen many parties in the political history of India, that deviated from their path to serve people. AAP was also formed out of a movement, but the level of work that our party has done in the last five years is commendable. Be it education or health, the world is recognizing us for all that we have done. People all over the world are talking about Mohalla Clinics, we are installing 3 lakh CCTV cameras and 2 lakh street lights in the city in six months, which no other city in the world has been able to do. No other city has been able to construct 1000 PHCs in five years. People from all over India and leaders from other political parties are admiring all that is done by AAP.”
AAP Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament and recently appointed Delhi Assembly election in-charge Shri Sanjay Singh was also present at the occasion. He said that he hoped Shri Sawhney will be a pillar of strength to the AAP as he has been to the INC.
Several ex-ward councilors and presidents of the block presidents were also inducted into the party. Ex-councilor of Majnu ka Tila ward, Pawan and Naina Prem Vani, block president of Civil Lines Narendra Handa, Kashmere Gate Block President Mirza Zaiker, Jama Masjid Block President President Zahid were also present.
