As per the directives of Delhi’s CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal, Food and Civil Supplies Minister Shri Imran Hussain, today inaugurated various development works including the reconstruction of eleven lanes in Kasab Pura in Quresh Nagar area falling under ward 89 of Ballimaran constituency. During the visit officers of the Delhi Urban Shelter Improvement Board (DUSIB) and Delhi Jal Board (DJB) along with eminent personalities of the area Shri Musharfeen, Dharmender Mahawar, Nababuddin, Aarif, Furkan Ahmed, Shami were also present.

Taking forward steps towards fulfilling the promises made to the residents of the Ballimaran area, MLA and Cabinet Minister Shri Imran Hussain dedicated various development works to the people. Giving impetus to the development works in the Ballimaran assembly, the Minister inaugurated the reconstruction of RMC Road into eleven lanes with an expenditure of around ₹1.5 crore.

On this occasion, Delhi’s Cabinet Minister said that the Kejriwal government is making concrete efforts by giving priority to public welfare works so that welfare works can be completed on a priority basis. Only the Kejriwal government can fulfil all the promises made to the people with guarantees in this country. “Under the guidance of Delhi’s CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal, development work is being done on priority in Ballimaran legislative assembly and will be at great pace in future also,” he added.

During the visit, Minister Shri Imran Hussain expressed that the drainage maintenance work should be executed on a regular and priority basis to avoid water logging and ensure the disposal of filth in the area. DJB officials were also directed to repair/replace damaged water pipelines to ensure an uninterrupted supply of fresh water in the area.

Minister Shri Imran Hussain also interacted with the residents of the area who expressed satisfaction with CM Shri Shri Arvind Kejriwal’s honest governance while getting the benefits of various Delhi Government welfare schemes. “The cleanliness of the area is also being taken care of regularly. Residents are delighted for 24 hours free and affordable electricity in Delhi,” he concluded.
