Prof. Baljinder Kaur is a member of the National Executive of AAP and has a dynamic political journey. After participating in India Against Corruption Movement, she joined the Aam Aadmi Party, securing victory in the 2017 Punjab Elections from the Talwandi Sabo constituency with a substantial margin of 19,293 votes. In the 2022 Punjab assembly election, Prof. Kaur again rose victorious from the Talwandi Saboo assembly.

Before her political venture, Baljinder served as a lecturer of English at Mata Gujri College in Fatehgarh Sahib.

As an MLA, Kaur has prioritised improving education, reducing farmer suicides, and securing better prices for agricultural produce in her constituency. Additionally, she aims to enhance healthcare in Talwandi Sabo.

Emphasising the power of the “Aam Aadmi” in shaping democracy, Kaur is committed to making the country corruption-free. She holds an M. Phil. in English.
