The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has fiercely criticized the Central Government for excluding them from a crucial ‘all-party’ national security meeting on Tuesday. Senior AAP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh condemned Prime Minister Narendra Modi for ignoring the national party, highlighting the central government’s “petty mentality” and a “lack of seriousness” on a critical issue. The AAP MP emphasized that national security transcends partisan preferences and urged the Prime Minister to adopt an inclusive approach. AAP, which has three MPs in the Lok Sabha and ten in the Rajya Sabha, insists that solving national security issues requires broader cooperation, not a narrow mindset.
Senior AAP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh raised a question on not inviting the AAP, despite being a national party, in the meeting organized by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the issue of national security. “When there is a matter of national security, it cannot depend on which party the Prime Minister is happy with or unhappy with. On matters of national security, the Prime Minister has to take everyone along. In such a situation, not inviting a national party like the AAP, which has 3 MPs in Lok Sabha and 10 MPs in Rajya Sabha, to the all-party meeting shows the non-seriousness of the Central Government and also shows its petty mentality,” he added.
The AAP MP further told the Prime Minister that the PM cannot solve the national issues of the country with such a narrow mind and neither can he take any serious decision on the issue of national security of the country. “If the Prime Minister does not call the national party of the country in the all-party meeting, just because he is happy or angry with that party. I think this shows a petty mentality of the central government and also shows their lack of seriousness,” he affirmed.

Not inviting the Aam Aadmi Party, a national party with 13 MPs, to this important all-party meeting shows the petty mentality and lack of seriousness of the government.”
