“I have not committed any corruption; My only crime is raising my voice against anti-national forces, and for that, I was sent to jail,” declared Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, as he makes a powerful return from jail on Friday evening, leading a triumphant roadshow from Chandgi Ram Akhara to his residence. A sea of AAP supporters showered him with flowers, while senior party leaders stood by his side.
Thanking the people of Delhi and the country, Arvind Kejriwal said today the country is going through a delicate phase. Kejriwal is not important, the country is important. “Some anti-national forces in the country are trying to weaken the country from within. They are trying to divide the country and make people fight each other. Attempts are being made to weaken the judiciary of the country, judges are being intimidated and efforts are being made to weaken the Election Commission. The ED and the CBI are being captured. We have to fight these anti-national forces,” he said.
The Delhi Chief Minister said that my fault is not that I did any corruption, but my drawback is that I raised my voice against these anti-national forces. That is why I was sent to jail. But I have always been fighting against these forces and will continue to fight in future as well. “These people thought that by putting me in jail, they will break my courage. But the walls of the jail have increased my courage a hundredfold. The prison walls and bars cannot weaken Kejriwal’s courage. My life is dedicated to the country; every moment of my life, every drop of my blood and body is dedicated to the country,” he said.
Arvind Kejriwal said that I am a little man, but God supported me because I was truthful and right. I got so much love and respect from you people. “I used to serve the people and fight for the service of my country, which is why God is with me. I pray to God that He shows me the same path in the future as well, so that I keep fighting for you in the same way in the times to come,” he said.
