People of Delhi will once again choose Arvind Kejriwal for free education, healthcare, electricity, water, pilgrimage for elderly, and free bus travel for women: Manish Sisodia

The stage is set for Delhi’s 2025 Assembly elections, with AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal hailing the contest as a battle between ‘politics of work’ and ‘politics of hurling abuses’. The AAP Chief has rallied AAP’s volunteers, calling them the party’s greatest strength and urging them to rise with determination to defeat the opposition’s machinery. Senior AAP leaders have reinforced the party’s confidence, showcasing AAP’s transformative achievements in healthcare, education, electricity, and women’s welfare, while challenging the BJP’s lack of vision and agenda. With the BJP still silent on candidates and plans, AAP leaders remain confident that Delhiites will once again place their trust in the proven governance of Arvind Kejriwal on February 5th, choosing progress over the politics of abuse.Reacting to the announcement, AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal wrote on X, “The election schedule has been announced. All volunteers should gear up with full strength and enthusiasm to take the field. Even their massive machinery fails in the face of your passion. You are our greatest strength. This election will be a contest between the politics of work and the politics of hurling abuses. The trust of Delhi’s people will remain with our politics of work. We will surely win.”Meanwhile, Senior AAP leader Manish Sisodia, while addressing Delhiites ahead of the elections, made a strong appeal for their support by highlighting the leadership of Arvind Kejriwal and his transformative governance. He emphasised that the people of Delhi will once again choose a Chief Minister who ensures good health for their families. He said, “Delhiites will vote for a leader who has provided 24-hour electricity and ensured zero electricity bills, easing the lives of countless families in the city.”Manish Sisodia asserted that on 5th February, the people of Delhi will once again place their trust in the visionary and honest leadership of Arvind Kejriwal. A leader who has facilitated pilgrimages for families, ensured free bus travel for women, and implemented welfare schemes with sincerity and integrity. He added, “They will vote wisely and thoughtfully to make this a reality. Once again, they will choose a leader who secures a bright future for their children, works towards the dream of making Delhi a clean and beautiful city, and protects them from the burden of inflation.”Congratulating the people of Delhi, Manish Sisodia stated, “I request Delhiites to please vote. As the Election Commission has said, Wednesday is the voting day, so make sure to cast your vote. When the results are announced on 8th February, we are fully prepared to see the Aam Aadmi Party form the government once again under Arvind Kejriwal’s leadership.”Reacting to the announcement of the election dates, Delhi State Convenor and Cabinet minister Gopal Rai said, “The people of Delhi have been waiting for this date for a long time. We are confident that the people of Delhi will come together and once again form the working government of Arvind Kejriwal.”Gopal Rai further stated that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) had already intensified its preparations for the elections in advance and is fully prepared. We were discussing among ourselves that the BJP has no narrative among the public, no progressive agenda, and no visible preparation for the elections. We feared that, like the MCD elections, they might delay the Delhi Assembly elections as well. However, now that the elections are confirmed, we are fully prepared. I believe, just like last time, the BJP will secure very few seats, while the Aam Aadmi Party will not only win a majority but a grand one.”AAP Spokesperson Priyanka Kakkar emphasized that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) stands firmly with the people and works tirelessly for their welfare, which is why the party is fully prepared for the upcoming elections. She stated, “The AAP is ready because it stays among the people and serves them. I am hopeful that, as the Chief Election Commissioner assured, action will be taken against Parvesh Verma, who was seen openly distributing money, to ensure free and fair elections.”She further highlighted the irregularities, “For example, Anita Singh, the wife of MP Sanjay Singh, faced two fake petitions filed to remove her vote. Similar incidents were witnessed during the New Delhi Assembly elections, where 5,500 names were removed and requests were made to add 10,500 fake names.”She stated that the Election Commission had taken note of these issues and filed eight FIRs against 24 individuals. She added, “We are hopeful that the Election Commission will take action on all legitimate complaints raised by AAP to ensure free and fair elections.” Commenting on the upcoming elections, she said, “Now that the election date, February 5th, has been announced, the BJP should also announce its candidate.”When asked about AAP leaders allegedly pressuring the District Election Commission, Priyanka Kakkar responded, “There is immense pressure being put on us because we are repeatedly raising this issue, but we will not back down. In Shahdara, we exposed how a BJP leader filed 11,018 applications to remove names from the voter list, and the Election Commission took notice of it. However, it was only after we raised our voices and met with the Chief Election Commissioner that the process was halted.”“Similarly, in the New Delhi Assembly, we have repeatedly raised the issue that, after the summary revision process was completed on November 29, there were large-scale applications for adding and removing names. The objectors themselves have denied filing these applications. So, who are the people using the names of these objectors to file these applications? It is crucial for the fairness of the elections that action is taken on this issue without delay,” she continued.She further stated that the AAP has a comprehensive plan for Delhi and has already announced several guarantees for the city. “One of our upcoming guarantees is providing ₹2,100 per month. The Aam Aadmi Party has also given many assurances to support auto drivers,” she said.Highlighting the party’s inclusive approach, she added, “We have taken care of every section of society. They have no face, no agenda. What have they done for law and order in Delhi in the past ten years? What have they done for the people of rural Delhi? On all these matters, they are silent. They are solely focused on a politics of abuse and insult. They insult CM Atishi’s father, and target Arvind Kejriwal. They believe that their decade-long strategy of hurling abuses will help them form a government, but that is never going to happen. They haven’t even announced their candidates. The people of Delhi will vote for a politics of progress, based on what will secure a brighter future for them,” concluded Jasmine Shah.
