Senior AAP Leader and Delhi Chief Minister Atishi on Monday said the people of Haryana want change as they want 24×7 electricity, zero electricity bill, good treatment in government hospitals, world-class government schools and jobs for the better future of their children.
She was speaking at a massive roadshow in support of the Aam Aadmi Party candidate Dhanraj Singh Kundu from Charkhi Dadri assembly constituency in Haryana. She was garlanded and presented a pagri by the crowd. Waving AAP flags, the party supporters made the event lively. AAP Haryana State President Dr Sushil Gupta followed in the vehicle behind as the cavalcade waded through the sea of people gathered around.
Addressing the crowd gathered at the roadshow in an unconventional way, the CM entered into a dialogue with them. Highlighting the achievements of the Aam Aadmi Party in Delhi and Punjab under the leadership of party supremo Arvind Kejriwal, Atishi asked the people if they wanted the same facilities to be extended to Haryana and the crowd answered in the affirmative.
Delhi Chief Minister Atishi said, “Today, I have come from Delhi to seek votes for Dhanraj Singh Kundu. She asked, “On which date is the polling?” The people replied it is on the 5th (October). Atishi asked, “Which button is to be pressed on the 5th?” The crowd answered, “Jhadu (broom).”
The Delhi Chief Minister said the broom button should be pressed by those who want 24×7 electricity, zero electricity bill, good government schools for their children, good treatment in government hospitals, free pilgrimage for the elderly.
Senior AAP Leader Atishi said there is only one person who knows how to provide free electricity, that too, for 24×7; makes government schools world class, provides good hospitals, gives free pilgrimage to the elderly. There is only one man, who is the son of Haryana. His name is Arvind Kejriwal. There is only one man who can make government schools better than private schools, provide you good roads, give jobs to your educated children—his name is Arvind Kejriwal.
The Delhi Chief Minister said, “Arvind Kejriwal has given everything in Delhi _ free electricity, good schools and hospitals. He has given these facilities in Punjab as well. He is the son of Haryana. Why should the people of Haryana also not get these facilities?”
She said those who want free electricity, good schools, free pilgrimage for the elderly, jobs for educated boys and girls must press the ‘broom’ button (on the EVM) on the 5th.
The Delhi Chief Minister said I met a person on my way, who asked me if he voted for the AAP, the party coming into power. “So, let me tell you that no government is going to be formed in Haryana without Kejriwal and the Aam Aadmi Party. We will bag so many seats that without us the government will not be formed in Haryana,” she said.
Urging the people to vote for the AAP candidate, CM Atishi said, “So, tell me whether Dadri seat will be there in the Aam Aadmi Party’s account, whether Dhanraj Kundu ji will be the MLA. I request you to press the ‘broom’ button on the 5th and our brother, your son Dhanraj Singh Kundu ji is to be made MLA.”
After attending the roadshow, the CM posted on ‘X’: “Now @ArvindKejriwal ji’s revolution will come in Haryana too. This time the people of Haryana will vote for @AamAadmiParty for the better future of their children, for a great hospital, for 24×7 electricity. Today, the enthusiasm and excitement of the people at the roadshow in Charkhi Dadri has confirmed that this time on 5 October, the people there will choose the model of their son Arvind Kejriwal by pressing the broom button.”
