Senior AAP Leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh conducted a door-to-door campaign in the New Delhi Assembly constituency, against BJP’s electoral fraud. He urged citizens to check the voter list and see how the BJP is intentionally running a campaign to delete their votes in AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal’s constituency. He highlighted concerns about the deletion of votes belonging to long-time residents, many of whom have lived in the area for decades. Sanjay Singh criticized the BJP, stating that their actions appeared to undermine residents’ presence and voting rights. He asserted that the BJP had already lost the election and was now attempting to win through electoral fraud, a move AAP has vowed to resist.Sanjay Singh said, “People who have been living here for years, building makeshift shelters, enduring poverty and hardships, are being targeted by the BJP to delete their names from the voter list. The BJP wants to ensure that the benefits provided by the Delhi government through Arvind Kejriwal cannot reach these people.”“Once the BJP deletes your address from the records, they are capable of doing anything. This is a very serious matter. The Election Commission should take note of this and investigate how such a conspiracy is being executed. The BJP always spreads lies. That’s why I have come here today to show the people of Delhi the truth,” he continued. He stated that the BJP is selectively targeting and deleting votes of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supporters who have consistently backed Arvind Kejriwal in every assembly election. He said, “I have shown the people whose votes have been deleted in front of the media. What more evidence does the Election Commission, the administration, or the BJP need?”Sanjay Singh further highlighted that the names of people who have been living here for 40-50 years are being deliberately deleted from the voter list. He stated, “It is being said that these people don’t even live here. People who were born here and have been living here for many years are having their votes deleted.”He added, “Tomorrow, they might bring bulldozers here, clear everything, and claim that these people don’t live here at all. The BJP has already lost the election before it has started. They want to win the election through electoral fraud, but we will not let this succeed.”Sanjay Singh further mentioned that several voters have given statements in the media, stating that the BJP is running a campaign in Arvind Kejriwal’s New Delhi Assembly constituency to delete the names of people who have been living there for decades. He further highlighted, “The BJP wants to commit electoral fraud. We have repeatedly complained to the Election Commission about this issue and presented all the evidence and facts before the media. They have applied to delete the names of several people. These individuals have voter ID cards and have been living here for many years. The BJP wants to win the election through electoral fraud. Complaints have already been filed in this matter, and the administration has been informed that attempts are being made to delete votes improperly.”Sanjay Singh said, “Rahul Sood, Anuj Sood, Lata, Dolly, and Deshraj have been living here for many years. Some people were even born here, yet their names are being deleted from the voter list. It is being claimed that these people don’t live here. If they didn’t live here, how were votes registered in their names in the first place?”Sanjay Singh cited the example of Dolly and her husband Sanjeev, who both live in the area, yet an application has been submitted to delete their names from the voter list. He emphasized, “We are closely monitoring this entire matter. The votes of people who live here, were born here, and have valid voter registrations must not be deleted under any circumstances.”Sanjay Singh reiterated that the BJP had already lost the election before it even began and was now attempting to win through electoral fraud by deleting votes. He said, “We will not let this succeed. Many voters are coming forward on camera to share how they were born here or how some women have lived here for 40 years since their marriages, yet their votes are being targeted for deletion.”Responding to a media question, Sanjay Singh said, “The names of two women have been used to apply for the deletion of my wife’s vote. What interest could these women possibly have? The interest lies with the BJP. They have a political agenda behind this.”On a question regarding the Prime Minister inaugurating several schemes in Delhi, Sanjay Singh remarked, “In this country, 37.45 lakh children have dropped out of government schools. Will PM Modi turn a blind eye to this reality? In Uttar Pradesh alone, 7.8 lakh children are out of school. This government is trapping the country in lies and conflicts while creating a massive population of unemployed and uneducated people. What will be achieved from this?”Meanwhile, people from Purvanchal living in the New Delhi Assembly constituency said, “We will bring Arvind Kejriwal back again. We request the media to raise our voices so that our votes are not deleted.” During this time, several voters showed their voter ID cards and said, “We have been living here since we came to Delhi, yet our votes have been deleted.”
