A political storm has erupted over External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar’s shocking admission that Pakistan was informed about Operation Sindoor before it was launched. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has pointed out to the Modi government an unforgivable betrayal, demanding an explanation from the Prime Minister himself.
Senior AAP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh lambasted the BJP government’s conduct amounts to treason against India and its armed forces. “When the Foreign Minister publicly admits that Pakistan was alerted in advance, it is no less than a betrayal of national security,” he said, adding that the matter is of utmost seriousness and warrants an immediate response from Narendra Modi.
Senior AAP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh has strongly criticised External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar over his shocking admission that Pakistan was informed in advance about Operation Sindoor. The AAP Rajya Sabha MP said this disclosure has stunned, shocked, and distressed the entire nation. He called it a betrayal of Bharat Mata and the Indian Army — a treachery committed by the Modi government.
Referring to S. Jaishankar’s own statement, Sanjay Singh said, “The Modi government informed the terrorist state of Pakistan in advance about a planned attack. Before the commencement of Operation Sindoor, Pakistan was told that India was going to strike terrorist hideouts. This is the same Pakistan that shelters terrorists, that provides safe havens to them, where even military officers attend the funerals of terrorists.”
Sanjay Singh asserted that informing Pakistan in advance about Operation Sindoor amounts to betrayal of India, the Indian Army, and Bharat Mata. “This is no ordinary matter. The Modi government must come forward and explain its actions. It is deeply serious that such a major operation was disclosed to Pakistan beforehand. Did the Modi government actually alert Pakistan in advance?” he questioned.
Sanjay Singh demanded that PM Narendra Modi himself must come forward and give answers to the nation. “When the delegation-level talks move forward, the Opposition will raise this issue firmly. We stand strongly with the Indian Army and the country in every duty and every national cause. But if the government betrays the country and the armed forces, then it is the Opposition’s duty to inform the public and bring this truth to light,” he added.
Sanjay Singh further demanded clarity from the Prime Minister: “PM Modi must now answer how much truth there is in what Donald Trump has said, and how much truth lies in what Modi’s Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar has claimed — that Pakistan was informed about Operation Sindoor before it even began.”
