Modi government will bring next ‘Bhik Maango Yojana’, in which 5 crore free bowls will be distributed to youth of country: Sanjay Singh

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh has slammed the Modi Government’s budget in the Rajya Sabha, labeling it as a ‘Hollow Vision for Developed India’. The AAP MP categorically pointed out how this budget is detrimental to farmers, youth, and businesspersons. He lambasted the budget cuts in critical sectors like defence, agriculture, health, transport, and pensions, claiming it serves only the interests of the Prime Minister’s close allies. He also highlighted the inadequate judiciary and jail budget, emphasizing a political agenda to incarcerate opposition leaders, including Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal. The AAP leader warned that the BJP’s grip on power is waning, predicting a steep decline in their electoral fortunes.

During the discussion on the budget in Rajya Sabha, AAP MP Sanjay Singh said that a lot of noise is being made about this budget being revolutionary and the budget of developed India. The whole country should know that the budget for the protection of ‘Bharat Mata’ has been cut. The defence budget has been reduced from 9.6% to 9.43 percent. The agriculture budget of farmers has been reduced from 3.2% to 3.15%. India has a population of 140 crores. It is a matter of great regret that the health budget has been reduced from 1.97% to 1.85%. The transport budget has been reduced from 11.48 % to 11.28 percent.

The AAP Rajya Sabha MP continued, “On one hand, there is a demand for the restoration of the old pension scheme, and lakhs of employees are on the road. Despite this, the pension budget has been reduced from 5.20 to 5.04 percent. The energy budget has been reduced from 2.10% to 1.42%, the scientific department from 0.7% to 0.6%, the food subsidy from 4.38% to 4.25%, North-East budget reduced from 0.13% to 0.12%. The social welfare budget has been reduced from 1.22% to 1.17%. The fertilizer budget reduced from 3.88% to 3.40 percent. This is the truth of the Modi government’s hollow budget of developed India, it has hurt every section of the society.”

He further added that these people (BJP) say that we are the fifth-largest economy. But they are not telling the truth about whom the fifth largest economy is. The Modi government waived off ₹16 lakh crores of a few capitalists. PM Modi’s government alone took twice the loan that the Prime Ministers of 14 countries took. The Modi government has taken a loan of ₹150 lakh crores and has drowned the country in debt. Farmers expected this government to double the MSP, but they did not. They promised to give 20 crore jobs in 10 years but did not give. When the youth asked for jobs, PM Modi asked them to fry ‘pakodas’. Then he said that they should do a 4-year job in the army.

Sanjay Singh stated, “I want to ask the Prime Minister that he has to become the Prime Minister for the third time at the age of 73, but a farmer’s son will do a 4-year job in the army. Why is this discrimination? What will be the next plan of the government? This government is talking about internships and training schemes. It is asking the youth to take training of ₹5,000 per month. Training worth ₹5,000 will be given in 500 big companies. The PM should name only 100 companies where one company can employ 4,000 trainees. This figure of theirs is just a ‘jumla’. There is nothing else apart from this. We feel that now only one plan is left that PM Modi’s government will bring the next ‘Bhik Maango Yojana’ (begging scheme) in which 5 crore free bowls will be distributed to the youth of the country.”

“Only a few capitalist friends of PM Modi, are reaping the benefits of being the fifth largest economy, whose ₹16,000 crores were waived off, who looted thousands of crores of rupees and left India. Don’t the street vendors contribute to the country’s economy? They also pay taxes. The Modi government does not want to see them even with open eyes. He has ordered the street vendors to put up nameplates. Tell me whether they are Hindu, Muslim, Dalit, backward or tribal. If nameplates are to be installed then they should be installed around the neck of those capitalists including Nirav Modi, Vijay Mallya, Lalit Modi, and Nitin Sandesara, who emptied the banks of India. Such things should not happen in the country,” the AAP MP affirmed.

He further expressed that India is a secular nation. I know that the BJP people will be hurt. These people have just lost the elections in Uttar Pradesh. If someone installs a nameplate of Jatav or Valmiki Dhaba in UP, then these people will not go there to eat food. I know their mentality. These are the people who did not invite the then President of India Ramnath Kovind to the foundation stone laying ceremony of Lord Shri Ram’s temple and did not invite the current President Draupadi Murmu to the inauguration of Ram temple. These people hate Dalits, backward classes, minorities and Muslims. Therefore, if you want to get nameplates installed, then get the nameplates of those who looted the country’s banks installed.

Sanjay Singh shared, “This time they have also reduced the budget of jails. The budget of jails should be increased. Right now we are in jail, tomorrow you have to come to jail. Next is the turn of these people. So fix the jails. They have given only ₹300 crores to the jail. The budget of the judiciary is also insufficient. 5 crore cases are pending in the country and 6 lakh people are in jail. About 76% of these people are under trial. This means that the aim of the Modi government is not to provide justice, to reach the truth of any matter, but they aim to arrest every person and put them in jail.”

“They put the Chief Minister of Delhi in jail. CM Arvind Kejriwal’s sugar level has gone below 50 for 36 times in jail. Delhi’s Education Minister and Health Minister have been kept in jail for two years. These people are arresting every leader of the opposition and putting them in jail. They put Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren in jail. Sanjay Raut and Anil Deshmukh were kept in jail. Three ministers of Bengal were kept in jail. Their aim is not to get justice through trial but to arrest the opposition and keep them in jail. The more these people put us in jail, the deeper they will sink. Their politics has come to an end. Right now they have reached 240, tomorrow they will reach 24 and after that, they will reach 2,” he asserted.

The AAP leader said, “They (BJP) want to discriminate against everyone. After Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Dalits, backward classes, now they want to discriminate against the states. The people of Delhi gave ₹2.32 lakh crores to the central government in the form of GST and income tax, but Delhi did not get even a single rupee in return. Delhi has not been given a budget for the last 9 years. The farmers of Punjab produce wheat and paddy in the fields by shedding blood and sweat. Even after this, the central government has withheld ₹8,000 crores for the development of Punjab. The centre has withheld money from many opposition states. Why are they discriminating?”

“These people write that the development of the country is due to the development of the states. Are they developing the country? They have discriminated against the opposition by targeting each state. The central government has also reduced the education budget. It means that they have nothing to do with education. Because these people are going to teach ‘Manusmriti’ at Delhi University. They call Dalits and backward classes untouchable. If they hear these ‘shlokas’, then how will they put mercury in their ears? They are going to teach this. This budget is against the farmers, youth, and businesspersons of the country. This budget has been tailored for PM Modi’s friends,” MP Sanjay Singh concluded.
