e Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) held its monthly state-level organisational meeting on Sunday, 20 July 2025, at the party headquarters under the chairmanship of Delhi State President Saurabh Bharadwaj. In line with the party’s established organisational calendar, the first Sunday of every month is reserved for assembly-level meetings, the second Sunday for district-level meetings, and the third Sunday for a comprehensive state-level review.
Sunday’s meeting was attended by senior office-bearers of the Delhi unit, including the State Vice Presidents, Organising Secretaries, District Presidents, and Joint Secretaries. The agenda focused on a detailed review of the current state of the organisation across all assembly constituencies, as well as planning the roadmap for expansion and reform.
Chairing the meeting, AAP Delhi State President Saurabh Bharadwaj conducted a meticulous constituency-wise review with each Organising Secretary. Every assembly’s organisational condition was discussed in detail, with Bharadwaj personally taking stock of ground reports. Secretaries presented updates on both strengths and shortcomings of the local party units under their jurisdiction. Constituencies that have demonstrated exemplary organisational performance were duly acknowledged, while problem areas were flagged for immediate attention.
During the discussions, several Organising Secretaries highlighted vacancies in key posts at the assembly level. Responding promptly, Saurabh Bharadwaj directed them to submit a comprehensive list of all vacant positions at the earliest. He assured that competent and committed individuals would be appointed to these posts without delay.
Furthermore, the Delhi State President instructed all organisational heads to identify inactive or underperforming office-bearers. He emphasised that such individuals would be replaced by dedicated and sincere workers capable of executing their responsibilities with full integrity. “This dual strategy — filling vacancies and replacing non-performing office-bearers — will not only strengthen our Delhi unit but also energise the party for future battles,” he said.
The meeting marked a significant step in streamlining AAP’s grassroots operations and ensuring accountability and performance-based structure within the Delhi unit.
Sharing a few snippets from the meeting on his X handle, AAP Delhi State President Saurabh Bharadwaj wrote: “On the third Sunday of every month, a meeting is held at the party office with state officials to discuss strengthening the organization. Heartfelt gratitude to all colleagues contributing to strengthening the organization.”
