“They (BJP) caught your beloved Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, me, Sanjay Singh, Satyendar Jain and all the leaders of AAP and put them in jail. They did not put us in jail because we had done something wrong, but because Arvind Kejriwal was working. Arvind Kejriwal made schools and hospitals wonderful, made bus travel free for women, made electricity free. The BJP people do not know how to do all this. They only know how to stop work and fight,” he added.
The senior AAP leader continued, “BJP folks used to say that they will never let the electricity bill go to zero, they will not let schools be built, they will not let Mohalla Clinics be built, they will not let hospitals be built, they will not let buses to be run for free. But Arvind Kejriwal did it. Arvind Kejriwal fought for 8.5 years and got work done. To stop our work, they kept your Chief Minister in jail for about 4-5 months and me in jail for 17 months. These are all false allegations. BJP put Arvind Kejriwal, me, Sanjay Singh and Satyendar Jain in jail by making false allegations, so that the work of Delhiites stops.”
Manish Sisodia further said that now when I am going among the people, people are praising electricity bills, Mohalla Clinics, free bus travel and schools for children, but at the same time they are also telling that for the last one year there is a problem of sewer and drinking water. This problem is coming because the BJP has conspired and put Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in jail. If Arvind Kejriwal was here, he would have fought and got your water and sewer problems solved. They kept me in jail for 17 months, what was my fault? I was only building schools for children. What was Arvind Kejriwal’s fault, why was he making the electricity bills zero? If he had to do corruption, then why would he make the electricity bills zero, he would have made the bills expensive and stolen the money from it.
Before this, Manish Sisodia said that I am going among the people and the public is very happy with this. The people of Delhi are understanding that BJP got scared of Arvind Kejriwal’s work, so they got Arvind Kejriwal jailed by making a fake case. So that the people of Delhi can be harassed.
