Defying the weight of incarceration and emerging victorious against authoritarian forces, former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia walked free from Tihar Jail today. His first stop: was the residence of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, where an emotional reunion awaited him. Upon seeing Manish Sisodia after 17 months, CM Arvind Kejriwal’s wife Sunita Kejriwal fought back tears. Manish Sisodia touched the feet of CM Arvind Kejriwal’s parents, seeking their blessings, and also enquired about their well-being. This poignant moment followed his bail from the Supreme Court, marking a significant chapter in his battle for justice.
During this, the former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi also met the ministers and MLAs of the Delhi government and there was a long discussion between them on CM Arvind Kejriwal’s health and other points. After this, Manish Sisodia reached his house and became emotional after meeting his wife and mother-in-law. On this occasion, many senior leaders including Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh, MP Dr. Sandeep Pathak, Minister Atishi, Gopal Rai, Saurabh Bharadwaj, Durgesh Pathak, and Adil Khan were present.

After leaving Tihar, Manish Sisodia went straight to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s residence, where Sunita Kejriwal, the Chief Minister’s wife, became very emotional upon meeting him. Seeing Manish Sisodia in front of her after nearly 17 months brought tears to her eyes. She embraced him, showering him with affection and blessings.
