The Aam Aadmi Party is growing stronger with each passing day. On Friday, former two times Timarpur MLA Surender Pal Singh Bittu joined the AAP. He was formally inducted in the party by senior AAP leader Manish Sisodia. Manish Sisodia highlighted that his decision to join the party was inspired by Arvind Kejriwal’s governance model and the impactful work done in Delhi.
Senior AAP leader Manish Sisodia warmly welcomed Surender Pal Singh Bittu to the Aam Aadmi Party, stating, “I am delighted that he has decided to join the Aam Aadmi Party, inspired by Arvind Kejriwal’s governance model and the work done in Delhi in areas like education, electricity, water, women’s safety, and employment.”
Manish Sisodia stressed that Surender Pal Singh Bittu has chosen to be a part of the AAP family because it is the only party that genuinely works for the common man and for the betterment of Delhiites.
“Having served as an MLA twice and as a councillor, his political experience will undoubtedly benefit both the party and the people of Delhi. Together, we are confident we can continue to work for the welfare of Delhi’s citizens,” added the senior AAP leader.
Meanwhile, Surender Pal Singh Bittu stated that, “I thank Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia for welcoming me into the Aam Aadmi Party. Among all parties, AAP truly understands the struggles and needs of the common man, from the smallest issues to the biggest challenges.”
He emphasised that Arvind Kejriwal is a true leader of the people and a messiah of the downtrodden. “It was my desire to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with him and contribute to the cause of improving people’s lives. I am committed to working alongside this party to bring positive change and ensure the welfare of the people,” he added.
Senior AAP leader Kuldeep Kumar expressed his delight in welcoming a new member deeply inspired by the policies of the Aam Aadmi Party, Arvind Kejriwal’s governance model and the work he has done for Delhiites, Surender Pal Singh Bittu joins us today. “A seasoned leader, he began his journey as a councillor from Timarpur in 2002 and went on to serve as an MLA from the same constituency for two consecutive terms,” he said.
He highlighted that Surender Pal Singh Bittu is well-known and respected for his dedication to public service and the remarkable work he has done in his career. Today, he is formally joining the Aam Aadmi Party.
Surendra Pal Singh Bittu is a seasoned politician who became MLA twice from the Timarpur assembly constituency (2003 and 2008), and then joined Aam Aadmi Party in 2017.
