Delhiites are ready to bring AAP to power, “Na bantenge na katenge, sab milke BJP ko bhagayenge”: Sanjay Singh

Senior AAP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh addressed a series of four Jansabhas in Shakur Basti, Greater Kailash, Rajinder Nagar, and Ballimaran Constituencies, on Sunday, rallying support from the people of Delhi. He expressed confidence that the city is fully prepared to bring AAP back to power, highlighting the unified sentiment of the people with the chant: “Na bantenge na katenge, sab milke BJP ko bhagaenge.”

Sanjay Singh also pointed out the convergence of national leaders—PM Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and CM Yogi Adityanath—coming together to oppose Arvind Kejriwal, remarking that only the arrival of Donald Trump remains. He sharply criticized the BJP’s claim that they would replicate Arvind Kejriwal’s policies, stating, “When the original Arvind Kejriwal is here, why would Delhi choose a duplicate?”

During the rally, prominent leaders such as Shakur Basti candidate Satyendar Jain, Greater Kailash’s Saurabh Bharadwaj, Ballimaran’s Imran Hussain, and Rajinder Nagar’s Durgesh Pathak, along with other senior leaders and party workers, were also present.

Senior AAP leader and MP Sanjay Singh praised Shakur Basti’s residents, stating, “The people of Shakur Basti are fortunate to have Satyendra Jain as their MLA. He, along with Arvind Kejriwal, helped design and implement initiatives like free electricity, mohalla clinics, free medicines, and the Farishte Scheme, which have benefited the people of Delhi.”

He told the people that they are lucky to have such a dedicated leader, who works tirelessly for the welfare of the people. He added, “Satyendar Jain fought against the tyrannical government for 23 months but never gave up. Despite losing 36 kilos and enduring severe torture, his only crime was building mohalla clinics, providing free electricity and water, constructing flyovers, and expanding the metro network. Now, it’s time to repay his sacrifices with interest.”

Sanjay Singh further stated that if by mistake the BJP comes to power, all the benefits such as free electricity, water, education, healthcare, free bus travel for women, mohalla clinics, and CCTV facilities will be shut down. “They will close everything and bulldoze your slums,” he said.

He assured that the Aam Aadmi Party will form the government in Delhi again, urging people not to waste their vote. “When Arvind Kejriwal’s government is about to form, there’s no point in wasting your vote. Press the broom button on February 5th.”

He also highlighted how Arvind Kejriwal, who works day and night for the people of Delhi, was jailed for six months by these same people. “Arvind Kejriwal, who arranges free medicines in Delhi, had his insulin stopped while in jail,” Sanjay Singh added.

He remarked that to stop Arvind Kejriwal, the entire BJP leadership, including Prime Minister Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, UP CM Yogi Adityanath, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, and Manohar Lal Khattar, had come to Delhi. “Now, only Donald Trump’s arrival is pending. All BJP MPs, central ministers, and their goons have arrived, along with the police. Today, BJP leaders are openly indulging in hooliganism with the police in Delhi. The people of Delhi will answer them on February 5th and ensure their bail is forfeited. This time, the broom will sweep across the entire city.”

Sanjay Singh further emphasized that the broom is a symbol of prosperity in every home. “A broom is needed to clean homes, shops, and neighborhoods. We need a broom to clean Delhi and the country. It’s also needed to remove the arrogant ghosts occupying the minds of BJP leaders,” he said.

He mentioned that the BJP leaders have convinced themselves that they brought Lord Ram. “They even made a song about it, but Lord Ram cursed them. They lost in Ayodhya, Ambedkar Nagar, Kushinagar, Sultanpur, Kaushambi, Prayagraj, Chitrakoot, Rampur, and Sitapur. This time, we need to ensure that their bail is forfeited in Delhi. Arvind Kejriwal and the AAP are set to win over 60 seats in Delhi. The BJP is going to be wiped out. Clean up the area around you with the broom,” he concluded.

At a public rally in Greater Kailash constituency, AAP MP Sanjay Singh said that this is a constituency where the walls of division have broken down, and everyone is united in supporting Saurabh Bhardwaj. “People are ready to press the broom button. Saurabh Bharadwaj has been the MLA here for 11 years and is always available for the people, 24/7.”

The Senior AAP Leader continued, “The most important thing is that Saurabh Bharadwaj is a courageous man. When ED officials arrived to arrest Arvind Kejriwal, Saurabh was the first to reach there. Despite being a Cabinet Minister, he was dragged through the streets and beaten. He has worked tirelessly for the people of his constituency,” Sanjay Singh stated.

He also highlighted the BJP’s failed attempts in Greater Kailash, where they initially proposed Smriti Irani as the candidate against Saurabh Bhardwaj, but she backed out, claiming she couldn’t contest against him. Later, they suggested Meenakshi Lekhi, who also backed off.

Eventually, they fielded Shikha Rai, but the real story, as stated by Sanjay Singh, is that the BJP has failed to connect with the people here. “The walls of political division have fallen, and votes from Congress and BJP alike are now going to Saurabh Bhardwaj,” he said.

Sanjay Singh urged the people of Delhi to evaluate the work done by the parties and vote accordingly. “Delhi is a place for educated people. Yogi Adityanath recently visited Delhi and criticized the schools here. But who will believe him when he says Delhi’s schools are in ruins? He is making baseless claims, but Delhi’s people are ready. Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, backward, forward, Dalits, and upper castes have all united with one slogan: ‘Na Batiye, Na Katiye, Milkar BJP Ko Haraiye.’ Everyone wants to see AAP win,” he said.

He also urged voters to think of their children’s future when casting their votes. “Arvind Kejriwal has built good schools for Delhi’s children, set up mohalla clinics, provided free bus rides for women, and now guarantees ₹2100 per month for women. When you go to vote, remember the future of your children,” he concluded.

Sanjay Singh stated that our mothers and sisters had saved money for difficult times. But then, PM Modi demonetized the currency and told them that this was black money, and they should deposit it by standing in line. They deposited even their hard-earned savings.

He added, “In 2014, PM Modi promised that so much black money would be brought back that every individual would receive ₹15 lakh in their bank accounts. But, not even 15 paise have been deposited in anyone’s account. PM Modi had promised to provide 2 crore jobs every year to the youth, but now he’s asking them to become Agniveers, do a 4-year job, and then retire.”

Sanjay Singh further highlighted that PM Modi had promised to reduce inflation. He added, “PM Modi had promised that petrol would cost ₹50 and diesel ₹40, and a gas cylinder would cost ₹250. But today, petrol costs ₹100, diesel has crossed ₹100, a gas cylinder is ₹1200, dal costs ₹250, mustard oil is ₹300 per litre, and onions are ₹200 per kilo.”

“When people went to Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, she said she doesn’t even eat onions. Such insensitive people are in power in the country. On the other hand, Arvind Kejriwal and the AAP government always worry about how to serve the people of Delhi, how to move Delhi forward, and make sure Delhi remains ahead on the national map,” Sanjay Singh stated.

Sanjay Singh remarked that the BJP has just released its manifesto, which states they will do the same things that Arvind Kejriwal is doing. He questioned, “When people already have the original Arvinf Kejriwal, why would they choose a duplicate?”

The AAP Rajya Sabha MP further highlighted, “The BJP has opposed every single initiative Arvind Kejriwal implemented in Delhi. When free electricity and water were provided, mohalla clinics were established, CCTV cameras were installed, and free travel was provided to women, they opposed it.”

He stated that now, when Arvind Kejriwal has announced ₹2100 for women as ‘Samman Rashi’, the BJP is opposing that too. He said, “If by mistake BJP comes to power, they will shut down all these schemes. The BJP can only demolish ‘jhuggis’. They are good only at uprooting the poor and increasing inflation. If nothing else works, they can instigate conflict among people. And when it comes to lies, the PM speaks in such a way that I feel he could even sell a comb to a bald man.”

Sanjay Singh urged people to vote on February 5, reminding them to look at their zero electricity and water bills and think about the upcoming ₹2100 for women under the Mahila Samman Yojana, and the Sanjeevani Yojana for the elderly, where Delhi government will bear the medical expenses for those above 60 years old.

He concluded by stating, “We have announced that ₹18,000 will be given every month to pujaris and granthies, under the Pujari-Granthi Samman Yojana. BJP is troubled by this and claims that we have become ‘election Hindus.’ Did BJP get entitlements over Hinduism in inheritance? If they are so concerned, let them implement this scheme in any five of their 22 states. BJP is only good at criticism.”
