The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Sunday strongly condemned the barbaric terror attack on tourists in Pahalgam, calling it an unforgivable act of cowardice and a grim reminder that terrorism remains undefeated in Jammu and Kashmir despite repeated claims by the Central Government. From AAP National Convenor Arvind KePunjab CM Bhagwant Mann, MP Sanjay Singh, Delhi Assembly LoP Atishi, Delhi State President Saurabh Bharadwaj, MPs Dr. Sandeep Pathak and Raghav Chadha, AAP leaders mourned the victims, slammed the cowardice act and appealed to ensure peace, and demanded a ruthless response from the central government to those behind the bloodshed.
AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal took to ‘X’ (erstwhile Twitter): “The cowardly terrorist attack on tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir is extremely shameful and condemnable. Targeting unarmed innocents is an attack on humanity. The whole country is united in this moment of grief, our condolences are with the victim families and we strongly condemn every form of terrorism.”
Punjab CM Bhagwant Singh Mann condemned the attack and wrote: “The cowardly terrorist attack on tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir is extremely shameful and condemnable. Targeting unarmed innocents is an attack on humanity. The whole country is united in this hour of grief, our condolences are with the victim families and we strongly condemn every form of terrorism.”
Senior AAP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh stated on his ‘X’ handle: “The terrorist beasts brutally shot the unarmed tourists. These cowardly terrorists are enemies of the country and also of Kashmiris, they should not be spared under any circumstances, they have no religion and no faith. The central government should reply to the terrorists in their own language.”
Senior AAP leader and Delhi Assembly LoP Atishi took to ‘X’and expressed: “The terrorist attack on tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir is extremely sad and condemnable. Targeting innocent people is against humanity. The whole country is united in strongly condemning this cowardly attack. Our condolences are with the affected families. May God give them the courage to bear this suffering.”
AAP Delhi State President Saurabh Bharadwaj said, “This is a cowardly attack, and we stand with the families of the victims. In the last 11 years, the government has abrogated Article 370, made Jammu and Kashmir a Union Territory, carried out demonetization, and every time it was said that these steps would end terrorism in Kashmir. But terrorism has not ended.”
He added, “Kashmiri Pandits have not been able to go back to their homeland. And the state of militancy is evident. I think the government should reconsider where there might have been a flaw in their policy. The PM must focus less on his foreign visits and worry more about the domestic issues.”
AAP National General Secretary (Organisation) and Rajya Sabha MP Dr. Sandeep Pathak stated on his ‘X’ handle: “The terrorist attack on tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir is extremely cowardly. I express my heartfelt condolences to the deceased and their families and wish the injured a speedy recovery.”

Praying for the speedy recovery of the injured and strength to the families affected. Those behind this barbarity are enemies of peace and must be crushed with the full weight of justice.”
