With the overwhelming support of the people of Delhi, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has geared up to break all the records in Delhi Assembly elections under the leadership of Arvind Kejriwal.
Immediately after the release of AAP senior leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia from jail, the party has intensified the preparations for the assembly elections with renewed sense of energy. Manish Sisodia, who came out of jail after 17 months, is directly communicating with the public by doing padyatra (march). It is clear from the huge crowd of children, women and elderly that the love of the people for him is now overflowing.
Along with Manish Sisodia’s padyatra, the work of strengthening the organization is also going on. Manish Sisodia has made a strategy to win the assembly elections by meeting with the party officials.
Manish Sisodia said the way the BJP is putting the Aam Aadmi Party leaders in jail by hatching a conspiracy, there is a lot of anger among the people of Delhi. He said the people of Delhi are very angry with the BJP’s central government the way it has kept Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in jail.
Manish Sisodia said the central government wants to keep our leaders in jail till the assembly elections by any means. First, they put Satyendar Jain and me in jail. After that, our leader and Delhi’s popular Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was put in jail by hatching a conspiracy. Now the Supreme Court has granted me bail and I have come out. Soon, our leader Arvind Kejriwal will also come out of jail.
Manish Sisodia said to keep us in jail, the BJP imposed such laws on us which are imposed on terrorists. Misusing the ED and the CBI, we were put in jail, but we are not going to be afraid of the BJP under any circumstances. “We have come to do politics of work. After coming out of jail, I am continuously meeting people. I am visiting schools to meet children and taking out padyatras across Delhi,” said the former deputy chief minister of Delhi.
AAP’s National General Secretary (Organization) and Rajya Sabha MP Dr Sandeep Pathak said the party is running several campaigns in Delhi regarding the assembly elections and many more campaigns will be launched in the coming time. The Aam Aadmi Party workers’ conference is going on in all 70 assembly seats of Delhi. In the workers’ conference, local MLAs are presenting the report of their four and a half years of work before the public. So far, the worker conference has been successfully organized in 18 out of 70 assembly constituencies. Area MLAs and state vice-presidents participate in the workers’ conference. Apart from this, the organization secretary and other officials will also be a part of this conference.
Dr Sandeep Pathak informed that the top leadership of the party will also participate in the workers’ conference to be held in Chhatarpur on Monday. We are going to every assembly constituency and connecting with the people. We are giving them information about our work done in the last four and a half years. We are directly communicating with the public. Booth mapping work is also going on at the assembly level,” he said.
AAP Delhi State Convenor Gopal Rai had announced to run the ‘Auto Samvad’ campaign on Saturday. Regarding the Auto Samvad campaign, Gopal Rai said that the state level conference of the auto wing will start from August 20. This campaign will be conducted by a 14-member committee. “The auto-rickshaw drivers of Delhi will take the work of their Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to the public. Along with this, they will expose the BJP conspiracy to stop the work of Delhi. For this, the auto drivers will become Arvind Kejriwal’s representatives and will talk to the people by running Auto Samvad every day at the auto-rickshaw stands across Delhi,” he said.
Gopal Rai said Arvind Kejriwal is very concerned about the auto-rickshaw drivers even in jail. I request the auto-rickshaw drivers of Delhi to raise their voice against the BJP. “If you remain silent during the elections and the Kejriwal government is gone, then you will be charged double the price of the free electricity, water, schools and hospitals,” he said.
Gopal Rai further said that when Arvind Kejriwal formed the Aam Aadmi Party, our auto-rickshaw driver brothers started getting respect in Delhi. People started knowing that auto-rickshaw drivers also have some respect. Earlier, no one used to listen to them. Governments of all parties have been formed, but the respect that the AAP government under Kejriwal’s leadership has given to auto-rickshaw drivers has not been given by any party before.
Gopa Rai said Arvind Kejriwal has sent a message from jail that all the officials should hold ‘Auto Samvad’ in entire Delhi, enumerating the work done by the Kejriwal government at all the 511 auto stands of Delhi. “Arvind Kejriwal has said till the time I am in jail, all our auto wala brothers will together become my representatives and communicate with the people at the auto-rickshaw stands and convey the truth to the people,” said Gopal Rai.
The AAP Delhi State Convenor said from August 20, we have to start an ‘Auto Samvad’ campaign in the entire Delhi. In this, we will convey to the people the works done by the Delhi government despite adverse circumstances, he concluded.
