In a powerful push across Delhi, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is mobilizing through padayatras, carrying Arvind Kejriwal’s message to every neighborhood. On Monday, Chief Minister Atishi led an energetic padayatra in the Hari Nagar assembly constituency, where she was met with a surge of support and garlands from the crowd. Rallying voters, CM Atishi conveyed AAP National Convenor and former CM Arvind Kejriwal’s appeal, urging an unanimous re-election victory in the upcoming Delhi Assembly polls.
Speaking to the people of Hari Nagar, senior AAP leader and Delhi Chief Minister Atishi said, “If Delhiites do not vote for Arvind Kejriwal and another government comes to power, the construction of good schools and hospitals will stop, free electricity and water will cease, free bus travel for women will end, and the pilgrimage scheme for senior citizens will be discontinued. To continue all these services, Delhiites must elect Arvind Kejriwal as their Chief Minister for the fourth time with a significant majority.”
CM Atishi highlighted that, over the past two years, the BJP and the central government have left no stone unturned in troubling AAP and Arvind Kejriwal. “The BJP filed false cases against Arvind Kejriwal and imprisoned his ministers,” she asserted.
She further stated, “The BJP jailed Satyendar Jain, who provided 24-hour free electricity, and Manish Sisodia, who ensured quality education for Delhi’s children. They thought that by imprisoning Arvind Kejriwal’s ministers, they would be able to cut off his hands and stop the work in Delhi. But when Arvind Kejriwal continued to deliver, the BJP hatched a conspiracy and arrested him.”
CM Atishi emphasized that Arvind Kejriwal suffers from acute diabetes and needs insulin injections four times a day, yet the BJP played dirty politics and withheld his medication and injections while he was in jail.
She said, “The BJP jailed Kejriwal because they wanted to stop Delhi’s progress. Despite providing 24-hour electricity, he still gave it for free. He ensured water reached every household, even the smallest slum. The dignity given to the poor by Kejriwal has never been given by any other leader.”
CM Atishi noted that previously, government schools were in a dilapidated state, lacking teachers, desks, and chairs. “Arvind Kejriwal transformed these schools into institutions better than private schools, which is why the BJP imprisoned him,” she remarked.
She further criticized the BJP, saying, “Despite being in power in 22 states, the BJP has failed to improve schools, hospitals, or provide free electricity and water. On the other hand, Arvind Kejriwal provides all these services for free in Delhi. When people started questioning the BJP, asking why these things were possible in Delhi but not in their states, the BJP thought they couldn’t replicate Arvind Kejriwal’s work, so they imprisoned him.”
She added, “Thanks to the love, blessings, and prayers of Delhiites, Arvind Kejriwal is out of jail. The conspiracy to stop all work in Delhi has failed, and with Arvind Kejriwal’s return, all halted projects have resumed.”
CM Atishi asserted, “If you want free electricity, free water, good schools for your children, free bus travel for women, free treatment at Mohalla Clinics, and pilgrimage for the elderly, there is only one person who can provide this, and that is Arvind Kejriwal. Additionally, we will now provide Rs 1,000 per month to every mother and sister in Delhi starting on the first day of each month. Therefore, in the upcoming February election, Delhiites should elect Arvind Kejriwal as Chief Minister for the fourth time with a significant majority.”
She highlighted, “The BJP is not going to win in Delhi, but if by any mistake they do, the free electricity, water, bus travel for women, and pilgrimage for the elderly will all be stopped. Hence, for quality schools and hospitals, free bus travel for women, and continued pilgrimage for the elderly, vote for Arvind Kejriwal and elect him as the Chief Minister of Delhi for the fourth time.”
