“The BJP is playing FIR-FIR game to distract from 100 days of total inaction in Delhi,” asserted senior AAP leader and former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Friday, pointing out that the BJP has failed to do any meaningful work in Delhi and is now using FIRs as a distraction tactic. Manish Sisodia slammed the BJP for wasting its 100 days in power without improving electricity, water, education or healthcare.
The senior AAP leader said the BJP was handed a mandate to deliver governance, but instead of addressing power cuts, water shortages and the loot by private schools, it is using investigations to divert attention. “Just like all previous probes led nowhere, this one will also come to nothing,” he said.
Speaking to the media, former Deputy CM Manish Sisodia said that the whole country knows how exemplary Delhi’s schools are and how much progress has been made in the field of education. “BJP, driven by political vendetta, is misusing its agencies to register FIRs in cases where there is no wrongdoing. This is a completely politically motivated case. In the last 10 years, the BJP has used every agency to dig into the lives of AAP leaders, yet found nothing. All they do is file fake FIRs and keep dragging the matter. Nothing came out of it earlier, and nothing will come out of it now,” he said.
Referring to BJP MP Manoj Tiwari, Sisodia added, “Manoj Tiwari had made these allegations against me, and when I filed a defamation case against him, he was released on bail. These accusations have no basis—they are entirely false. The BJP is doing this only because the people of Delhi gave them a mandate to work for the city, which they have failed to do.”
Calling out the BJP for the total governance failure, Manish Sisodia said, “The BJP does not know how to work. They do not know how to build schools, hospitals, or mohalla clinics. They cannot fix roads, electricity, or water, nor can they manage the city during rains. After just one rainfall, Delhi was in a terrible state. Roads are broken, and the entire city is suffering from power cuts. Private schools are exploiting parents, and even BJP’s staunchest supporters are now crying out against this exploitation.”
Highlighting the diversion tactics of the BJP, the senior AAP leader stated, “To distract the public from real issues, the BJP creates such fake cases and keeps playing this FIR-FIR game. Nothing came out of it before, and nothing will come of it this time either. They are only doing this to shift public focus from their failure on core issues.”
Manish Sisodia concluded by saying, “Even BJP workers in Delhi don’t understand what their government is doing or plans to do. They too are suffering at the hands of private schools. BJP’s hardcore supporters are tweeting about massive power cuts and the pathetic state of roads. Just one rainfall has left Delhi in shambles. BJP leaders are only interested in abusing Kejriwal and filing FIRs. They know nothing else—fake FIRs are all they know. Let them continue with their FIR-FIR game; I will continue doing the work that matters.”
