As his seventh padyatra reached Mayur Vihar Phase-1, the atmosphere was electric with chants and prayers, signaling a strong message: ‘Manish Sisodia is back, and CM Arvind Kejriwal will also come’. The people of Delhi, undeterred by BJP’s attempts to thwart progress, are rallying behind their leaders with renewed vigor, confident that the work that transformed the city will continue under the leadership of CM Arvind Kejriwal.
The people welcomed him warmly with flowers and garlands and ’tilak’. At the same time, the sisters warded off the evil eye from their ‘Brother Manish Sisodia’ and prayed to God for his long life. During a padyatra in Mayur Vihar Phase-1, former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, the father of Delhi education revolution, said that Delhiites love Arvind Kejriwal a lot. People are praying for Arvind Kejriwal. Every child in Delhi knows that the BJP has put him in jail as part of a conspiracy. CM Arvind Kejriwal had to go to jail not because he did something wrong, but because he worked for Delhi. The BJP wants to stop the work of the people of Delhi. That is why Arvind Kejriwal has been implicated in a false case and put in jail.
The former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister continued, “CM Arvind Kejriwal worked hard in Delhi for the last 8-9 years. But for the last one year, BJP has stopped many of our works. BJP used to do this earlier also, but CM Arvind Kejriwal used to get all the work done by fighting. Now our ministers are also fighting with them and I am also fighting with them. Sewer crisis is being created by deliberately stopping the works inside Delhi, so that the people of Delhi get troubled. But as soon as Arvind Kejriwal comes out, he will fight for these issues and get all the work done. We have worked a lot in the past and will work in the future too
Manish Sisodia further added that people are very excited about the padyatra. People are also excited because the conspiracies of BJP are failing. BJP is creating hurdles to obstruct the work of Delhiites, one of them was to send me and Arvind Kejriwal to jail, but all their efforts are failing. I have come out and soon Arvind Kejriwal will also be released. And we will not let any work of the people stop. “We will fight and get it done. I am getting a lot of love from the people. It feels like I have come to meet my family after 17 months. People know that we have not done anything wrong. BJP had put us in jail by making false allegations. People are very angry about this,” he affirmed.

I am very happy that people are coming out of their streets and neighborhoods to meet me with great affection and ask about my well-being. It feels very good. Supporters welcomed him warmly with flower showers and garlands. Women performed his Aarti and presented him with a shawl. After finding Manish Sisodia among them after so long, people said ‘Welcome Back’ to him. During this, many women, youth and elders hugged him and gave their love and blessings. An emotional Manish Sisodia thanked everyone with folded hands and said that this love of the people is his strength.

When Manish Sisodia reached amongst the people after 17 months, his happiness knew no bounds. People became emotional after seeing him. A young man came out of the crowd and reached Manish Sisodia and said enthusiastically that we are very happy that you have come out. We were constantly praying to God. Many works had stopped due to your departure. On this Manish Sisodia smiled and said, whatever had to happen has happened, now we will all work together further.

The enthusiasm of the children was worth seeing during Manish Sisodia’s padyatra. Many children wholeheartedly welcomed Manish Sisodia, the father of Delhi’s education revolution, with roses and flower garlands. The children also brought posters made by their own hands saying ‘I love you Manish Sir’ and ‘Thank you for promoting the education initiative’.
