Arvind Kejriwal was improving schools, hospitals, he gave people many facilities including 24×7 and free electricity that’s why BJP put him in jail: Manish Sisodia

Senior AAP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia resumes his padyatra with renewed vigor. In a powerful march electrifying the streets of Bijwasan assembly constituency on Monday, he received overwhelming support from the public.

Welcomed with flowers and garlands, Manish Sisodia fired a broadside at the BJP for halting Delhi’s progress by jailing Arvind Kejriwal, stalling key projects in education, healthcare, and electricity. “BJP jailed Arvind Kejriwal to stop Delhi’s work and harm the people,” declared the senior AAP leader, adding that Delhiites are now rejecting the BJP for the next five years.

Senior AAP leader and Delhi’s former Deputy CM Manish Sisodia while interacting with the people of Salapur of Bijwasan assembly constituency, said, “I have brought Arvind Kejriwal’s message among you (people). Everyone knows that Arvind Kejriwal is a staunchly honest leader, he did many works in Delhi. Got the schools, hospitals here revamped, and ensured zero electricity bills. He sent the elderly on pilgrimage, and provided free bus rides for women.”

Highlighting AAP government transformative works under the leadership of Arvind Kejriwal, the Ex-Deputy Chief Minister stated that before 2015, there used to be long power cuts for hours. People used to run on generators at many places. Today, Delhi has 24×7 electricity.

“The BJP people realized that government schools and hospitals are not improving in any of its states, electricity bills are not becoming zero, and there is no access to 24×7 electricity in any of BJP-ruled cities (states). On the other hand, Arvind Kejriwal is repairing hospitals, has ensured zero-electricity bills, and providing 24×7 electricity available in Delhi. That’s why BJP people started having problems with this,” pointed out the senior AAP leader.

Manish Sisodia said that now the people of BJP ruled states have also started asking the BJP that when Arvind Kejriwal can get work done in Delhi, why can’t BJP do it in Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Haryana? BJP has been in power in Haryana for 10 years but they have not made electricity bills zero in any city, rather they have increased it many times. 24×7 electricity is a far cry. Arvind Kejriwal, who was born in Haryana, went to Delhi and made electricity bills zero and made electricity available for 24×7.

“Why is this not happening in BJP ruled states? People are saying that Arvind Kejriwal has improved schools, hospitals and reduced electricity bills to zero, so we will only elect Arvind Kejriwal and his party. Then BJP felt that they will have to stop Arvind Kejriwal’s work because he is continuing to work. So, to stop Arvind Kejriwal’s work, they put me, Satyendar Jain, Sanjay Singh in jail. Even then the work did not stop. Arvind Kejriwal was working, so BJP put him in jail too,” he reasoned.

Hitting out at the BJP, the ex-Deputy CM affirmed, “The BJP was expecting that since I have been a minister for so many years, I must have some money. It may be in the bank locker. When CBI reached the bank locker, they found a child’s rattle there. They did not find a single rupee from me and Arvind Kejriwal’s house.”

“In the end, they imposed such dangerous laws on me, Arvind Kejriwal, Sanjay Singh and Satyendar Jain which are imposed on terrorists and drug mafias. But it is said that in God’s court there can be delay but no injustice. When our case reached the Supreme Court for bail, the Supreme Court asked the CBI and ED that you catch any person walking on the road, put him in jail, and then ask him to speak against Arvind Kejriwal. Your case will end in two questions. The case will go on for 2-4 years,” asserted the senior AAP leader.

Manish Sisodia mentioned that Arvind Kejriwal resigned after coming out of jail. He said that BJP people are accusing him, he will now sit on the CM’s chair only when the people of Delhi make him sit on it. “Along with Arvind Kejriwal, I also said that I honestly built schools for the children studying in government schools with hard work. I have improved the education system. I will also sit on the chair of Delhi’s Education Minister only when the people of Delhi say that Manish Sisodia is honest,” he added.

He further added that BJP conspired to harass the public, to stop their work and put me and Arvind Kejriwal in jail. But with the prayers of the public, the power of honesty and the grace of God, we came out. But we are not stuck to the chair. We forsaken the chair. We said that now we will sit on the chair, work only when the people make us sit on the chair again.

Manish Sisodia said that Arvind Kejriwal came out of jail and made Atishi the Chief Minister. Now, on Arvind Kejriwal’s instructions, Atishi is getting work done in Delhi. The roads of Delhi which BJP had not allowed to be repaired this year, Arvind Kejriwal has now started getting those roads repaired. Mohalla clinics were being closed, they have started again.

“They (BJP) had also tried to nab the electricity prices, but after Arvind Kejriwal’s arrival, there will be 24×7 electricity in Delhi. They had stopped pilgrimages which have started again. When Arvind Kejriwal was in jail, BJP had stopped the scholarship scheme for the education of Dalit children, which too will start again. All the schemes will be started again,” affirmed the Ex-Education Minister of Delhi.

Manish Sisodia said that it is necessary to make Arvind Kejriwal the Chief Minister because when I and Arvind Kejriwal were put in jail, the public saw what BJP rule is. Pilgrimage stopped, 24×7 electricity stopped, zero electricity bills stopped. Schools and hospitals got dilapidated. The public has seen the trailer of BJP in one year, so BJP should not be brought to power in the next five years.

“If BJP were to assume power for five years, then all schools and hospitals would be ruined. There will be no electricity for 24×7 and the public will get tired of paying the bills of inverter and generator and BJP will increase the electricity bill instead of making it zero,” pointed out the senior AAP leader.

He stated that if the people of Delhi want to improve their schools, hospitals and keep their electricity bills in order, then Arvind Kejriwal will have to be made the Chief Minister again. Because after BJP comes to power, the electricity bills will be Rs. 2000-3000. This will ruin the welfare schemes of pilgrimage for the elderly and free travel for women in buses.

“The people are meeting me and telling me that good work has been done in schools. People are telling me that when BJP sent me and Arvind Kejriwal to jail and in a way to capture power through the back door means, people faced a lot of problems during this time. But now the public is happy that Arvind Kejriwal has come out of jail and his work is being done at a fast pace,” concluded Manish Sisodia.
