Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann led a mega roadshow in Kalkaji for AAP candidate and Delhi CM Atishi, followed by Jansabhas in Tughlakabad and Greater Kailash for candidates Sahi Ram Pehalwan and Saurabh Bharadwaj. A massive crowd welcomed him with enthusiasm.
Bhagwant Mann said Arvind Kejriwal delivers on his promises, unlike BJP’s empty claims. He assured that once AAP forms the government, women will receive Rs. 2,100 per month. He highlighted Arvind Kejriwal’s model of governance, where public money is returned to the people through free electricity, water, education, healthcare, and bus travel for women—earning Delhiites’ trust. Meanwhile, Punjab Cabinet Minister Aman Arora led a padyatra in Shalimar Bagh and MP Gurmeet Singh Hayer led a padyatra in Rohini.
During the roadshow, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann shared a message from Arvind Kejriwal, emphasizing AAP’s commitment to delivering on promises. “I bring you a message from Arvind Kejriwal—we do what we say, whether in Delhi or Punjab. If you have relatives in Punjab, call them and ask. We have fulfilled not just our guarantees but have gone beyond them.”
He added, “Delhiites hold Arvind Kejriwal close to their hearts, and he holds them close to his. Everywhere, people are saying that no matter who comes to them or how much money is offered, they will stand by Arvind Kejriwal.”
Highlighting the significance of the upcoming election, Bhagwant Mann framed it as a choice between two contrasting visions for Delhi. “On February 5, the people of Delhi will shape their own future and their children’s. There are two kinds of parties—one talks about fights, the other about education.”
The Punjab CM continued, “One hurls abuses, the other builds hospitals. One takes away, the other gives back. When Arvind Kejriwal founded this party, he made it clear that taxpayers’ money should benefit the people—whether through free electricity, water, better roads, quality schools, hospitals, or free bus travel for women. The people’s money must return to the people.”
Bhagwant Mann defended Arvind Kejriwal’s welfare policies, countering BJP’s criticism of “revdis.” “For the past 10 years, Arvind Kejriwal has spent public money on the public. BJP accuses him of distributing ‘revdis,’ but when he announced Rs. 2,100 per month for women, PM Modi panicked after seeing the overwhelming registrations and hastily declared Rs. 2,500 instead. PM Modi calls our schemes ‘revdis,’ so should we call his Rs. 2,500 announcement ‘papad’? The reality is, 99% of Delhiites trust Arvind Kejriwal’s Rs. 2,100 promise, but they don’t believe PM Modi’s Rs. 2,500—because he once promised Rs. 15 lakh and never delivered.”
Bhagwant Mann emphasised that taxpayers deserve benefits from the money they contribute. “Even when buying a matchbox, people pay taxes. That money should come back to them. We’ve released a special manifesto for the middle class because those born with a silver spoon don’t understand the struggles of the poor.”
He added, “BJP has no agenda, Congress has no presence, and no one has a leader like Arvind Kejriwal, who knows how to get work done. On February 5, Delhiites will press the jhadu button with an overwhelming majority and elect an AAP government. The jhadu’s job is to clean—we cleaned Punjab, and now, for the fourth time, we’ll clean Delhi and make Arvind Kejriwal CM again.”
Delhi CM and AAP candidate from Kalkaji, Atishi, emphasized that Delhiites do not want goondaism, abuse, or disrespect towards women in their neighborhoods. “Our government has built a new road from Kalkaji Mandir to Tughlakabad village. This election is a choice between two kinds of parties—one that is educated, works for the people, and makes life easier, and another that indulges in abuses, disrespecting women, and spreading chaos. In the past five years, Arvind Kejriwal has provided 24-hour free electricity, quality schools for our children, and free treatment through Mohalla Clinics.”
Highlighting AAP’s commitment to women and senior citizens, CM Atishi outlined Arvind Kejriwal’s upcoming initiatives. “He has already made bus travel free for women, and over the next five years, he will provide Rs. 2,100 per month to women. Today, all treatments in Delhi government hospitals are free, but under the Sanjeevani scheme, Arvind Kejriwal will also cover medical expenses for senior citizens in both government and private hospitals. They won’t have to spend a rupee. Bus travel is already free for women, and soon, it will be free for all school and college students as well. This is not a BJP-style empty promise—this is Arvind Kejriwal’s guarantee. On February 5, we must press the jhadu button and elect him as Chief Minister for the fourth time.”
Meanwhile, AAP Punjab President and cabinet minister Aman Arora led a Padyatra in Shalimar Bagh and Lok Sabha MP Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer led a Padyatra in Rohini.
