Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) National Convenor and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal’s wife, Sunita Kejriwal, electrified a massive crowd at the ‘Badlaav Sabha’ in Yamuna Nagar, Haryana, with a powerful call for change. Urging the people to embrace AAP, she promised that if elected, the party would deliver free and round-the-clock electricity, top-notch education, and healthcare, along with financial support for women and employment opportunities for the youth. Criticizing PM Modi’s actions against her husband, CM Arvind Kejriwal, she rallied the crowd to reject the BJP entirely, framing it as a fight for Haryana’s honor and a chance to bring the transformative policies seen in Delhi and Punjab to their state.
During this, the party’s national general secretary (Organisation) Dr. Sandeep Pathak and Haryana state president Dr. Sushil Gupta along with other senior leaders were present.
The AAP National Convenor and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal’s wife, Sunita Kejriwal, held a ‘Badlaav Sabha’ (public meeting for change) in Sadhaura on Saturday and sought the blessings of the people for Haryana’s son Arvind Kejriwal. She said, “You all know that Arvind Kejriwal is Haryana’s son. I got married to him in 1994. At that time Arvind’s family lived in Hisar. His father worked there. Arvind (Kejriwal) was born in Siwani village, but his education, upbringing and education took place in Hisar. No one could have imagined even in dreams that this boy would become the Chief Minister of Delhi after 20 years. This is no ordinary thing. He was born on 16 August 1968, that day was Krishna Janmashtami. This is also no ordinary coincidence.”
The AAP Supremo’s wife continued, “God wants him to do something big. Arvind Kejriwal contested elections for the first time and became the Chief Minister of Delhi. He brought about a great upheaval in the country’s politics. He did such work that no other party could do. Today people all over the world know Arvind Kejriwal for his works. Arvind Kejriwal improved the government schools of Delhi and Punjab. He made the future of the children of the poor bright. He built excellent Mohalla Clinics and hospitals where good and free treatment is available. He made electricity free. He allowed women to travel free in buses. He made pilgrimages free for the elderly and now he is going to give ‘Mahila Samman Rashi’ (an honorarium) of ₹1,000 to every woman every month.”
“No party has done these works for the public. The public would tell whether there is any party that has improved schools, built Mohalla Clinics or government hospitals and has anyone made electricity free? Such work can only be done by Haryana’s son Arvind Kejriwal. That is why PM Modi is jealous of Arvind Kejriwal. That is why Arvind Kejriwal was put in jail in a fake case. The Prime Minister says that Arvind Kejriwal is a thief. I say that if Arvind Kejriwal is a thief then there is no one honest in this world,” she added.
Sunita Kejriwal stated, “PM Modi has challenged the people of Haryana by putting the son of Haryana in jail. I, the daughter-in-law of Haryana, ask you whether the people of Haryana will silently tolerate the insult of their son. Arvind Kejriwal is a lion, he will not bow down before PM Modi. We will not sit quietly now. PM Modi is from Gujarat. When he became the Prime Minister in 2014, Gujarat gave all the seats to the BJP. Your Arvind Kejriwal has made Haryana proud in the country and the world. Now you also support him.”
She mentioned that there is not a single government college in Sadhaura. Where will the children here go to study? The condition of government hospitals is so bad that who will get treatment in them? In the BJP government, even after giving a security deposit, farmers do not get tubewell connections. Illegal mining has increased in Haryana.
“The BJP government is not interested in development. The public pays tax on everything. Therefore, the public has the right that the government should provide them with basic facilities like good education, good medical care, electricity and water. There are assembly elections in Haryana after three months. The BJP should not win even a single seat in Haryana. Arvind Kejriwal has to be made victorious with a huge majority. This is not about Arvind Kejriwal, this is a question of Haryana’s honor,” Sunita Kejriwal asserted.
She shared that Haryana’s son Arvind Kejriwal has given five guarantees to the people. Arvind Kejriwal fulfils his guarantees. His guarantees are being fulfilled in Delhi and Punjab. Arvind Kejriwal has given the first guarantee to Haryana to make domestic electricity free like Delhi and Punjab. After the formation of the AAP government, Haryana will get free and 24×7 domestic electricity. Second guarantee, like Delhi and Punjab, we will work to build Mohalla Clinics in every village and every city. Government hospitals will be made excellent, everyone will get good and free treatment.
“Third guarantee, we will make government schools better, where good and free education will be available. Fourth guarantee, we will work to give ₹1,000 every month to every woman. Fifth, we will provide employment to every unemployed youth. Apart from this, we will bring detailed plans for the development and prosperity of farmers, businesspersons, players, women and the elderly. Arvind Kejriwal has changed Delhi, changed Punjab and now it is the turn of change in Haryana. We all have to come together to build a new Haryana,” Sunita Kejriwal stated.
While AAP Haryana State President Dr. Sushil Gupta said that corruption is rampant in Haryana. The Haryana Government is the most corrupt in the country. When the local MLA of Sadhaura was a minister, a scam of ₹100 crores took place in the cooperative department and it remained buried in files. It was raised in the assembly and also appeared in the newspapers, but no strict action was taken. There was also a pension scam of ₹162 crores, but no concrete action was taken. 45 papers have been leaked during the BJP rule. Due to the leak of papers, the youth of the state are unemployed, they are again ruining themselves by going on the path of drugs, and crime. They even commit suicide due to depression and stress.
The AAP Haryana President further added that in the BJP government, crores of rupees were embezzled by showing fake recruitment of 4 lakh children in the education department. Money for books and uniforms was embezzled in the name of children. The school system is being spoiled continuously. There was a stadium scam of ₹46 crores in Haryana. There was a liquor scam of ₹10,000 crores in Haryana. In which 50 people died after drinking poisonous liquor. The youth of Haryana are migrating. The BJP government is giving protection to criminals. Every day ransom is being demanded by firing bullets in public. Policemen are also being murdered. The BJP has completely failed in preventing crime.
“The BJP is an anti-farmer government. The Prime Minister promised a Minimum Support Price (MSP) to the farmers and forgot it. The BJP government is still sitting on the Punjab-Haryana border. The BJP is busy giving bravery awards to the police officers who fired bullets at the farmers. Regarding the Dadupur canal, the court had ordered to give compensation to the farmers, but the BJP not only did not give compensation but also got the canal demolished. Due to this a large area of Ambala, Yamunanagar and Kurukshetra gets flooded. The government did not do anything to stop the floods. Stray animals are roaming on the roads, due to which there is a danger of accidents on the roads. Yesterday a bull killed a woman in Kurukshetra,” he added.
“The condition of hospitals in the entire state is dilapidated. In Panipat, a woman gave birth to a child on the floor of the hospital, which is a matter of great shame. Doctors, teachers, employees, players and students are all on strike in Haryana. There is chaos all over Haryana. The government is engaged in corruption in the name of Family ID and Property ID. Today the people of the state are not getting electricity or drinking water. The BJP government is closing down schools. The BJP government has become involved in the drug business. 7 out of 22 districts are in the grip of drugs. Industries are migrating from Haryana. Therefore, now the whole of Haryana wants change like Delhi and Punjab,” Dr. Sushil Gupta concluded.
