AAP government in Punjab has done remarkable work over the past three years: Manish Sisodia
Meanwhile, senior AAP leader Manish Sisodia expressed his delight at being entrusted with the responsibility of Punjab’s Prabhari by Arvind Kejriwal. “I can confidently say from my recent experience that 3 years ago, the people of Punjab, influenced by Arvind Kejriwal’s politics, gave the AAP a chance and elected Bhagwant Mann as CM. Since then, Punjab has witnessed extensive work, with initiatives that previous governments couldn’t even imagine,” he added.
“From providing jobs to the youth and building schools, hospitals, and Mohalla Clinics to decisions taken for the welfare of farmers in villages, the work done in the past three years under Bhagwant Mann’s government is unprecedented in Punjab’s history,” affirmed the senior AAP leader.
Manish Sisodia stated that in the coming time, Punjab’s government should work even better so that every AAP worker feels proud to be a part of the party and has confidence in its leadership and governance. Every individual in Punjab should feel that the government under Bhagwant Mann is making a positive difference in their lives and witness a changing Punjab.
“As AAP’s Prabhari for Punjab, this will be my endeavour. There is a unique affection among the people of Punjab for Arvind Kejriwal and Bhagwant Mann. AAP will undoubtedly win the Ludhiana West by-election. My goal is to ensure that the government continues working for the people and carries out excellent work in their interest,” asserted Manish Sisodia.
Manish Sisodia posted on ‘X’, expressing his heartfelt gratitude to Arvind Kejriwal and the party leadership for entrusting him with the responsibility of being Punjab’s Prabhari. He stated: “I express my heartfelt gratitude to Arvind Kejriwal ji and the party leadership for giving me the responsibility to work as in-charge of Punjab. The love and trust of the people of Punjab is my inspiration. The results of the work done in the last three years are now clearly visible there, and we are looking forward with confidence.”
“Now is the time to give this change rocket speed. My endeavour will be that all AAP leaders, workers, and the government under the leadership of Bhagwant Mann ji together fulfill the expectations of the people of Punjab and live up to their trust,” the post concluded.
The ones who stand with the party after a defeat are pure gold: Saurabh Bharadwaj
Meanwhile, senior AAP leader Saurabh Bharadwaj, thanking National Convener Arvind Kejriwal and PAC members for entrusting him with the responsibility of Delhi State President, said that AAP will be strengthened further. “I believe that rebuilding an organisation is easiest after a loss because, after a victory, many people join, but those who remain with the party after a loss are pure gold. Those who stand with the party today and fight for its cause are pure gold, and with them, the party will be rebuilt even stronger,” he added.
On the question of the MCD Mayor elections, Saurabh Bharadwaj stated, “I believe AAP’s vision should be looked at separately from elections for some time. The priority is strengthening the organisation and expanding the party’s base. Elections will come and go, and victories will follow.”
Regarding officials not answering MLAs’ calls, Saurabh Bharadwaj stated, “AAP stands with Delhi’s MLAs and the government, whether the MLAs belong to the BJP or AAP. Parvesh Verma is our rural brother. I come from a village, and so does he. As PWD Minister, when Parvesh Verma goes on inspections, PWD secretaries are absent, as well as special and deputy secretaries. This concerns me. I believe an elected government should receive full respect.”
“Over the past 10 years, the BJP has worked to weaken democracy, and this needs to be reversed. Democracy must be strengthened. Democracy is supreme, while bureaucracy is subordinate. We will not compromise on this principle for short-term gains. An elected government should have the authority, not bureaucrats. We stand firmly by this principle. MLAs are elected by two lakh people each, and officials must listen to them. There is no alternative to this,” asserted Saurabh Bharadwaj.
