In a significant development, former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia has been granted bail by the Supreme Court, setting the stage for a renewed political offensive by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). AAP’s National General Secretary (Organisation) Dr. Sandeep Pathak, announced former Deputy Chief Minister’s plans to visit Rajghat and a temple before addressing party workers tomorrow, and declared that his release marks the beginning of the end of the Modi government’s “dictatorship.” The AAP National General Secretary also expressed confidence that Arvind Kejriwal’s release from jail is imminent.
On Manish Sisodia getting bail, AAP National General Secretary (Organisation) and Rajya Sabha MP Dr. Sandeep Pathak said that for the last 2 years, BJP has been playing a game of snakes and ladders with the AAP and is hatching conspiracy after conspiracy. Their plan is to keep Arvind Kejriwal and the entire party in jail by any means and break the party. Their aim was to keep the top leaders of the party away from contesting elections by keeping them in jail. Manish Sisodia was kept in jail for 17 months by the Modi government dictatorially. The work done by him for Delhiites was stopped by the BJP.
The AAP National General Secretary (Organisation) further added that history is witness that dictatorship has a time limit. They have a life, after which their expiry date comes. The decision given by the Supreme Court today is the beginning of the expiry date of the dictatorship of the Modi government. In the bail granted to Manish Sisodia today, the Supreme Court has very clearly said that the central government’s agencies cannot play the game of snakes and ladders with the public. The Supreme Court has said that the trial of the case has not even started yet. The Supreme Court has severely reprimanded the central agencies and said that this is not right. Article 21 has been highlighted by the Supreme Court and Manish Sisodia has been granted bail.
He further said that after coming out of jail, Manish Sisodia will be able to do his work freely. The Supreme Court has not put any restrictions on his work. After Manish Sisodia, CM Arvind Kejriwal will also come out of jail soon. The enthusiasm with which the AAP was working for the country, moving forward, will soon start again. Manish Sisodia will go to Rajghat tomorrow morning at around 9 am. After Rajghat, he will go to the temple at around 10:00 am and after that he will reach the party headquarters at 11:00 am and address the workers.
“Manish Sisodia is our senior leader and he will come out and lead. The BJP has left no stone unturned in troubling Delhiites. First they stopped the water of the people of Delhi in summer, now they are playing politics with the people of Delhi in the rain. With Manish Sisodia coming out, governance will get a new strength and we all will also get new energy,” Dr. Sandeep Pathak concluded.
