In a compelling street play, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) mobilizes Delhiites to answer the arrest of CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal with their votes. The MCD Mayor Dr. Shelly Oberoi joins forces, decrying BJP’s assault on democracy. Highlighting the unconstitutional arrest ofCM Shri Arvind Kejriwal, Dr. Shelly Oberoi urges Delhi to elect INDIA Alliance candidates for a better and developed future.
MCD Mayor Dr. Shelly Oberoi said that Shri Somnath Bharti is our candidate from the INDIA Alliance for the New Delhi Lok Sabha seat. He has been MLA from Malviya Nagar for three consecutive terms and is also a prominent lawyer in the Supreme Court. The AAP appealed to the public through street play in Patel Nagar to elect the right government. For this, the public should choose the right candidate. When the councilor, MLA and MP in Delhi will be from the Aam Aadmi Party, then it will be easy to raise the voice of the people of Delhi in Parliament. The way CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal has been arrested in an unconstitutional manner. In view of this, the people of Delhi have also become aware. The opinion of the public on the ground has now changed.
She further stated that the people of Delhi now know that the BJP is running the government in a dictatorial manner and by killing democracy, the BJP is trying to form its government once again. The public has come to know that only the AAP raises the voice of the public and does politics of work. We have appealed to the people of Delhi to elect the AAP candidate to the Parliament, so that the issues of the people of Delhi can be raised in the Parliament. Till date, the BJP MPs have never raised the voice of the people of Delhi in Parliament. We will raise those issues which the BJP MPs could not raise in Parliament, we want to work on those issues, she said.
Mayor Dr. Shelly Oberoi said that CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal has only one dream, that is, how to make not only Delhi but entire India a developed and good country. CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal is a follower of Baba Saheb Ambedkar and lakhs of our volunteers are followers of Baba Saheb and Shaheed Bhagat Singh. Baba Saheb wrote such a commendable Constitution of India, giving everyone the power to vote. Today, with the power of the same vote, let us win and send the AAP candidate to Parliament and end the dictatorial BJP government by answering the arrest through votes. Now the people of Delhi and the country also believe that Shri Arvind Kejriwal is the only leader in the country who has the power to defeat the self-proclaimed ‘biggest party’, BJP.
