The party has formed its own organisations in almost all states, and now plans to contest elections with full force in these four states.

The party has also won two seats in Goa and five seats in Gujarat, which led to its recognition as a national party.

With its sights set on expanding across India, the Aam Aadmi Party is working tirelessly to strengthen its organisation at the grassroots level. According to AAP’s National General Secretary and Rajya Sabha member Dr. Sandeep Pathak, the party’s positive politics, which focuses on public issues, educated people, and developing schools-hospitals, has struck a chord with the people of India. “Our goal is to take CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal’s politics of honesty and truth to every home and every person across the country,” he said.

Aam Aadmi Party has been making waves in Indian politics since its formation in November 2012. Under the leadership of Arvind Kejriwal, the party has registered a series of historic victories in various state elections, emerging as a major player on the national political stage.

The AAP stunned everyone by winning 28 out of 70 seats in the Delhi Assembly elections in 2013. However, it outdid itself in the 2015 elections, winning a resounding 67 out of 70 seats. The party continued its impressive performance in the 2020 assembly elections, securing 62 out of 70 seats.

The AAP’s remarkable performance wasn’t limited to Delhi. In the Punjab Assembly elections in 2022, the party won a staggering 92 out of 117 seats, making history once again by winning power in another state. It also won two seats in the Goa Legislative Assembly elections.

Furthermore, the AAP’s performance in the Gujarat assembly elections in November-December was so impressive that it was declared a national party. The party now boasts 161 MLAs across the country, with 62 MLAs in Delhi, 92 MLAs in Punjab, 2 MLAs in Goa, and 5 MLAs in Gujarat. In addition, it has 10 Rajya Sabha members. The AAP’s success story continued with the formation of its government in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi, winning 134 out of 250 wards.

The Aam Aadmi Party’s expansion is not only aimed at winning elections but also at delivering the benefits of its governance model to people across the country. With its commitment to good governance, the party hopes to transform the negative politics prevalent in the country and bring about positive change.
