Under the visionary leadership of CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal, significant development works are actively underway in both Delhi and the Ballimaran assembly constituency. Adhering to the directives issued by Delhi’s CM, Food and Civil Supplies Minister Shri Imran Hussain today ceremoniously inaugurated a myriad of development initiatives, notably the reconstruction of 12 lanes in the area falling under Ward No.79 of the Ballimaran constituency. The area visit witnessed the presence of not only MCD councilor Shri M. Sadiq but also officials from Delhi Urban Shelter Improvement Board (DUSIB), MCD, BSES, and Delhi Jal Board (DJB), along with eminent personalities of the locality.

Taking a forward step towards fulfilling the commitment made to the residents of the Ballimaran area, Delhi’s Cabinet Minister and MLA, Shri Imran Hussain dedicated various development works to the people. Giving impetus to the development works in the Ballimaran assembly, the Minister inaugurated the reconstruction of RMC Road into 12 lanes near Gali Babar Begh, Katra Deena Begh. Rodgran Maqbara Iradatulla Masjid, Ahata Hajjan Bi, Gali Meer Madari, Gali Nagine Wali with an estimated cost of Approx ₹1.20 Crores. The Minister also reviewed the renovation and maintenance work of the Dispensary at Lal Kuan and instructed MCD officers to complete the work on the stipulated time.

During this time, Minister Shri Imran Hussain also interacted with the residents of the area who expressed their gratitude towards CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal’s honest governance while getting the benefits of various Delhi Government welfare schemes. During the interaction residents raised various issues like new electricity meter connection, maintenance of roads, water issues, and drainage maintenance before the Minister, taking into consideration, Minister Shri Imran Hussain issued on-spot instructions to the concerned officers to address the grievances of the residents expeditiously.

Minister Shri Imran Hussain was notified of the non-functioning of street lights at a few locations. The Minister on the spot directed the BSES officials to identify the dark spots in consultation with the residents for installing new high mast lights and refitment of non-functional street lights in the Ballimaran assembly constituency. The Minister directed DJB officers to place new water pipelines in place of damaged pipelines wherever required to ensure proper and equitable water supply to the residents. Minister Shri Imran Hussain further instructed the Delhi Jal Board to also monitor the ground situation regularly.
