Biography
Adil Ahmad Khan is an Indian politician from the Aam Aadmi Party. He served as the Chairman of Asia’s largest wholesale fruits and vegetables market, APMC (MNI), Azadpur, in the Government of Delhi. He has worked as a coordinator for the Aam Aadmi Party in different states like Gujarat, Chhattisgarh, and Madhya Pradesh. Adil is playing an important leading role in the Delhi organization of the Aam Aadmi Party.
Adil worked with the renowned news agency PTI (Press Trust of India). He was an active participant in Anna Hazare’s India Against Corruption movement. Later, he resigned from PTI and joined the Aam Aadmi Party, led by Shri Arvind Kejriwal.
Adil Ahmad Khan was born in Bahraich district, Uttar Pradesh. His father retired as a bank manager from the Government of India. He completed his education up to class 8 in his village, Jokha Salarpur, then moved to Gandhi Inter College, Bahraich, for intermediate studies, and later attended Lucknow University.
Adil has a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Lucknow University.
