The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has achieved a significant milestone by obtaining the status of a National Party in just 10 years since its inception. To celebrate this achievement, party workers at all state and district offices across the country will hold celebrations on 12th April. The AAP has also planned padyatras across the country to spread the message of the party and appeal to citizens to join the movement by giving a missed call on 9871010101. In addition, AAP will take the message of “Make India Number 1” to the masses, as articulated by the party’s National Convenor and Delhi Chief Minister, Shri Arvind Kejriwal.

Speaking about the significance of the party’s achievement, AAP Delhi State Convenor Shri Gopal Rai said that by becoming a National Party in merely 10 years, AAP has become a ray of hope for the people at the national level as well. AAP National Secretary Shri Pankaj Gupta hailed the achievement and announced that the party’s election symbol, the “Broom,” will be reserved for AAP across the country, enabling the party to fight elections using this symbol in any part of the country.

The achievement of National Party status by AAP is a significant milestone for the party, and its celebrations on 12th April will mark a momentous occasion for its members and supporters. With the party’s continued efforts to spread its message and engage with the masses, AAP has become a significant player in Indian politics.

Addressing the media, Shri Gopal Rai said that the Election Commission granted the Aam Aadmi Party national party status yesterday, and the entire nation is congratulating and looking on with optimism. “Through Delhi, Punjab, Gujarat and Goa, a party that was founded from scratch ten years ago has today become a national party. It has also turned into a national party, which indicates that it has gained national support,” he said.

He added that the Aam Aadmi Party has acquired the public’s support and trust and achieved the stature of a national party today, while all the other parties are gradually dwindling and struggling against challenging circumstances. “I heartily congratulate the Aam Aadmi Party workers from all over the country and all the countrymen, with whose support the Aam Aadmi Party has become a national party. Today, on the occasion of becoming a national party from Delhi, the process of celebration has started,” he said.

He further said that tomorrow, Aam Aadmi Party will hold a nationwide celebration in all state and district offices to mark the event of becoming a national party. Along with this, padyatras will be taken out all over the nation, to get CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal’s message out to the general public. “Shri Arvind Kejriwal has made a plea to the populace today, encouraging those who haven’t already joined the party to do so by leaving a missed call at 9871010101. By reaching the offices of the Aam Aadmi Party tomorrow, be a part of our celebration through the party’s padyatra,” he said.

Aam Aadmi Party’s National Secretary Shri Pankaj Gupta said that over the past ten years, people have been supporting AAP, and loving the party to the point where it could live up to their expectations.

Explaining the benefit of the national status, he informed that the party will get the convenience of running for office in several states. Instead of ten, we can fill the form of any candidate with only one proposer. The party’s election symbol broom will be officially reserved in the whole country and it will not have to apply anywhere. Along with this, the party will get more time in the national media. The party will now be able to announce campaigns in batches of 40 in the elections. The party will also be officially given a place for its national office.
