Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) Delhi State President Saurabh Bharadwaj once again exposed the exaggerations of the BJP government’s Chief Minister and ministers. This time, responding to Minister Kapil Mishra’s false claim of opening one thousand Ayushman Arogya Kendras in Delhi, he advised him to show some mercy to the people of Delhi. He said that just like the claims of cleaning the Yamuna and eliminating pollution, the BJP government’s claim of opening one thousand Arogya Kendras is also false.
Saurabh Bharadwaj said Minister Kapil Mishra’s claim that the Rekha Gupta government built 1,000 Arogya Mandirs in Delhi is false. While BJP seems to compete in telling the “biggest lie,” AAP remains a strong opposition exposing every lie of its Chief Minister and ministers.
In a video message on X, AAP Delhi State President Saurabh Bharadwaj said, “It now seems as if there is a competition within the BJP to tell lies. Everyone is competing with Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself. Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta sometimes says that they have run a bullet train from Punjab to Delhi, and at other times claims that her government has cleaned the Yamuna, which the Aam Aadmi Party exposes.”
The AAP Delhi Unit Chief further stated that the environment minister of the Rekha Gupta government says that they have cleaned Delhi’s air, and then the Aam Aadmi Party exposed the environment minister. He added, “Now, Minister Kapil Mishra in the Rekha Gupta government has also jumped into this competition. Kapil Mishra is saying that the BJP government has so far built one thousand Ayushman Arogya Mandirs in Delhi.”
Saurabh Bharadwaj sarcastically said that BJP ministers should forgive the people of Delhi and show some mercy. He said, ”Will all memes be made only on them? If the Chief Minister and ministers of Delhi provide so much material for memes, even meme creators will get exhausted.”
Saurabh Bharadwaj continued, “BJP Chief Minister and ministers should think at least a little before lying. We accept that the media does not verify the claims of BJP government ministers. All ministers openly tell lies. But in Delhi, there is a strong opposition in the form of the Aam Aadmi Party, which will expose every lie of the BJP government.”
Regarding the opening of 80 Arogya Mandirs in Delhi, Saurabh Bharadwaj said that a reply to a question asked in the Delhi Assembly has made it clear that most Ayushman Arogya Mandirs are not new health facilities. He pointed out, “In reality, these are old dispensaries of the Delhi government and the MCD.”
He further explained, “Some of them were Mohalla Clinics, which have simply been repainted and given the name Arogya Mandir. “AAP” said that in terms of facilities, Arogya Mandirs provide far fewer services compared to Mohalla Clinics. Meanwhile, the BJP government has also shut down more than 250 Mohalla Clinics in Delhi.”
Saurabh Bharadwaj said that ever since the BJP government came to power in Delhi, Mohalla Clinics have been targeted. The BJP government is either locking Mohalla Clinics or repainting them and renaming them as Arogya Mandirs.
The AAP Delhi State President stated, “In June 2025 as well, the BJP government had claimed to have established 33 new Arogya Mandirs, and even then we exposed its fraud. At that time, we also showed the nameplate of former Health Minister Satyendar Jain at the dispensary opened by the AAP government in Chirag Delhi, which the BJP government had renamed as an Arogya Mandir. Similarly, several other Mohalla Clinics were also repainted and given the name Arogya Mandir.”
Saurabh Bharadwaj said that when the BJP government’s fraud was exposed, its MP Ramvir Singh Bidhuri had challenged them to prove it. He said, “Ramvir Singh claimed that the BJP government had not repainted or converted any Mohalla Clinic or dispensary built during the “AAP” government into an Ayushman Arogya Mandir, and that if it had done so, he would quit politics.”
“Accepting Ramvir Singh Bidhuri’s challenge, we invited him to visit the Ayushman Mandir in Chirag Delhi, where the nameplate of former Health Minister Satyendar Jain is still installed. However, the BJP MP did not come,” he concluded.
