Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal has extended a heartfelt invitation to devotees across the world to join the Punjab Government’s commemorative events in Sri Anandpur Sahib from November 23 to 25, marking the 350th ‘Shaheedi Diwas’ (martyrdom day) of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji.
Sharing his message on X, AAP National Convenor Kejriwal said, “On the sacred occasion of the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, I, Arvind Kejriwal, humbly invite devotees from across the globe to visit Sri Anandpur Sahib from November 23 to 25. Your presence will give greater strength to spreading Guru Sahib Ji’s message of truth, freedom, and human faith.”
Sharing a video message on X, Arvind Kejriwal said, “On the sacred occasion of the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, I extend a humble invitation to devotees across the world to attend the events taking place in Anandpur Sahib between November 23 and 25. Let us come together to bow to that unshakeable courage and supreme sacrifice which showed the path of protecting not just one faith, but the belief and freedom of all humanity. Your presence will become a source of strength in carrying Guru Sahib’s eternal message of truth, freedom, and human faith even further.”

It is noteworthy that the Punjab Government has decided to organise a month-long programme to mark the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji. These commemorations are now gradually moving towards their conclusion. The Punjab Government has opened its treasury for these events. On November 23, 24, and 25, the entire Punjab Cabinet and the Speaker of the Assembly will be present in Sri Anandpur Sahib. The Kirtan Jatha, which departed from Srinagar on Wednesday, will arrive in Anandpur Sahib on November 22. The All-Faith Conference and Akhand Paath will be held on November 23. On November 24, for the first time, a special session of the Assembly will be held in Sri Anandpur Sahib, during which historic decisions will be taken. Jammu & Kashmir’s Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and Lieutenant Governor (LG) Manoj Sinha will also be present.
