The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has lambasted the BJP’s ‘four-engine’ government as it has failed to take even a single meaningful step to address the concerns of ordinary citizens, despite being six months into power. Instead of governing, BJP has focused its energies on delay, deflection, and distraction—flooding the system with raids, investigations, and baseless cases that have yielded no evidence.
“Jail whoever you want, file as many cases as you like—nothing will come of it, because there’s nothing to find,” AAP said, calling out the BJP’s politics a cover-up for its complete failure to act. “These investigations are not instruments of governance—they’re excuses to avoid real work.” AAP demanded that the BJP respect the public mandate and focus on the job it was elected to do, rather than clinging to a politics of revenge.
In a statement, the AAP pointed out, stating: “It’s been six months, and not a single meaningful step has been taken to solve the real problems facing ordinary citizens. The women of Delhi, to whom the BJP had promised ₹2,500 every month, are still waiting.”
The AAP further stated, “This government’s strategy is clear: delay, deflect, and distract. Endless investigations, repeated raids, and baseless cases—none of which have produced a shred of evidence. Jail whoever you want, file as many cases as you like—nothing will come of it, because there’s nothing to find. These are not governance tools; they are cowardly excuses for inaction.”
“Instead of clinging to vendetta politics, the BJP should focus on the job it was elected to do. The people did not give them a mandate to harass opponents; they gave them a mandate to govern. That means working for the public—fixing schools, improving hospitals, ensuring public transport, and delivering on promises like the ₹2,500 guarantee to women,” the party said.
The AAP affirmed, “Check everything—every brick in a school, every medicine in a Mohalla Clinic, every bus, every hospital. But once your witch hunt is over, start doing some real work. Enough of the drama. Enough of the excuses. The people are watching—and they will hold you accountable.”
