Barely a month after BJP covertly engineered defections to float the Indraprastha Vikas Party (IVP), its entire ploy has spectacularly unraveled. In a stunning indictment, AAP Delhi State President Saurabh Bharadwaj revealed that BJP expelled one of its own councillors simply for refusing to vote for IVP’s candidate in the MCD zone election—proving that the so-called new party was nothing but a BJP proxy.
Saurabh Bharadwaj said BJP created IVP to shield itself from direct blame for Operation Lotus, but after its candidates failed to win a single zone seat, the entire conspiracy lay exposed and defeated.
AAP Delhi State President Saurabh Bharadwaj on Monday declared that the BJP has been thoroughly exposed after it expelled its own Rohini zone councillor, Suman “Tinku” Rajora, for not voting for the Indraprastha Vikas Party (IVP) candidate in the MCD zone elections. Sharing BJP’s expulsion order—issued under the direction of Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva—Saurabh Bharadwaj, in a X post, stated, “The entire sequence proves BJP itself created the so-called IVP as a cover to avoid being directly accused of engineering defections under ‘Operation Lotus’.”
“The IVP failed to win even a single seat in the zone elections. Their entire plan collapsed. This makes it absolutely clear that BJP was behind IVP’s formation all along,” said Saurabh Bharadwaj.
He further linked this pattern to BJP’s conduct in the Raaj Kumar Anand case. “After ED raids on Minister Raaj Kumar Anand, he was sent to BSP to avoid ‘washing machine’ and Operation Lotus allegations, and later fielded as a BJP candidate in the Assembly elections—where he lost. Today, BJP’s real face, character, and conspiracies stand completely exposed before the people,” the post concluded.
