AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal warned today that the BJP, staring at imminent defeat in Delhi, is resorting to brazen ‘Gundagardi’ (hooliganism) and electoral fraud in a last-ditch attempt to cling to power. Exposing a sinister scheme to dupe voters, Arvind Kejriwal revealed that BJP goons—masquerading as Election Commission officials—are bribing the poor, marking their fingers with ink, and rendering them ineligible to vote. He sounded a clarion call to every Delhiite: “Do not fall for this fraud. If you let BJP ink your finger you will be signing a warrant for your own destruction. Do not sell your family’s future for just ₹3,000 or ₹4,000”
The Aam Aadmi Party has launched an all-out counteroffensive to thwart BJP’s criminal tactics, deploying hidden cameras, body cams, and Quick Response Teams (QRTs) to expose and stop the onslaught of illegalities. “BJP will use Delhi Police, BJP will use goons, and BJP will use fraud. But we will fight back. The people of Delhi will not let their democracy be hijacked,” Arvind Kejriwal declared, urging citizens to stay vigilant and report any attempts at electoral malpractice.

Addressing the people of Delhi, AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal said that the atmosphere across Delhi has made it clear that the Aam Aadmi Party is heading toward a historic victory, while the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is on the verge of extinction. “Disregarding all laws and the Constitution, Delhi Police will resort to Gundagardi. They will use their goons to intimidate and threaten people—they will do everything possible.”

He added, “But the most dangerous tactic they are employing is this: They will approach you, especially those from economically weaker sections, and offer you money. They will bring a box and claim to be from the Election Commission, asking you to cast your vote in it. They will give you a piece of paper, ask you to mark your vote, put ink on your finger, and offer ₹3,000, ₹4,000, or even ₹5,000.”

The AAP Convenor made it clear: The Election Commission does not conduct door-to-door voting. Do not fall for this deception—it is a fraud, a scam, an act of cheating. I have received calls from various slums reporting that people are going door to door, saying they will come on the night before the election and collect votes from people’s homes. Voting never happens at home—under any circumstances. Do not fall into their trap. Their only intention is to put an ink mark on your finger so that you cannot go to the polling booth and vote. If they try to ink your finger, refuse outright.”

Arvind Kejriwal also revealed, “if the BJP comes to power in Delhi, your homes, your lands—where slums are currently located—are their target. They will demolish all slums within a year and hand over the land to their friends. Look at what happened in Mumbai—Dharavi, the largest slum in the country, was taken and handed over to one of their close associates. Delhi’s slums will not be spared either. They will demolish them all and hand over the land to their friends. Their eyes are set on your land.”

He reiterated, “Do not fall for their deception. Do not sell your family’s future for just ₹3,000 or ₹4,000. Do not risk losing the roof over your head. If you allow them to ink your finger for a few thousand rupees, your home will be destroyed.”

Cautioning the citizens he said, “They will try to scare you, offer you money, and claim they can find out whom you voted for. That is a lie—nobody can see your vote. Arvind Kejriwal also announced that to prevent this Gundagardi, the Aam Aadmi Party has taken massive preventive measures. “Across Delhi, in slums and economically weaker localities, we are distributing spy cameras and body cameras to volunteers, workers, and supporters. Body cameras will record everything, and spy cameras—hidden cameras—will capture their fraudulent activities. These cameras are being placed all across slums and low-income areas.”

Additionally, the AAP has set up numerous Quick Response Teams (QRTs) across Delhi. “If any illegal activity occurs, a QRT will reach the location within 10-15 minutes to stop these unconstitutional and unlawful actions. They will prevent BJP’s people from committing electoral fraud and ensure they are arrested,” he concluded.
