The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is expanding its influence and strengthening its presence across Delhi. In a significant development, senior AAP leader and Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Singh, warmly welcomed Madan Mohan, a former Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) candidate, and former councillor Sudeshwati into the party fold. Their decision to join AAP marks a pivotal moment for the Palam Assembly constituency, further solidifying AAP’s growing influence in the region and signaling a stronger political presence in Delhi.AAP Senior leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh stated, “It is a matter of great pride for the Aam Aadmi Party that a strong and seasoned leader, Madan Mohan, who previously contested elections from the Bahujan Samaj Party and secured 25,000 votes, has joined our party today.”He further said, “Alongside him, his wife, Sudeshwati who has served as a Municipal Councillor twice, has also become a part of the Aam Aadmi Party. Their inclusion will undoubtedly strengthen the party’s presence in the Palam Assembly constituency.”Sanjay Singh stated that their joining will not only strengthen the Aam Aadmi Party in Palam but across Delhi as well. They come from a well-established political family, with significant experience. Madan Mohan himself has contested Assembly elections in the past, and his wife has served as a Municipal Councillor twice. Notably, in the 2012 municipal elections, she secured a resounding victory with a margin of 17,000 votes.The senior AAP leader stated, “With full confidence, I can say that the Aam Aadmi Party will achieve a resounding victory in the Palam Assembly constituency. Our candidate from the constituency is Joginder Solanki. It is through the dedicated efforts of Joginder Solanki and Pawan Sharma that this family has decided to join the Aam Aadmi Party today.”Sanjay Singh welcomed both the new members by placing the party cap and scarf on them, officially inducting them into the AAP family. Madan Mohan, sharing his thoughts, said, “It is my privilege today to be associated with this party. AAP’s Sanjay Singh has included me, and I pledge that in the Palam Assembly constituency, we will secure the highest number of votes in Delhi for Joginder Solanki.”He also expressed his gratitude to everyone for welcoming him into the party. “Leaving the Bahujan Samaj Party, I am now joining this family, and everyone from the Bahujan Samaj associated with me will fully support Joginder Solanki,” he said.
