In a rousing display of public support during his Padyatra in Rithala, Senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Manish Sisodia, asserted that the people of Delhi are eager to re-elect Arvind Kejriwal as their Chief Minister. According to the former Deputy CM, the residents of Delhi will avenge the obstacles imposed by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Arvind Kejriwal’s government by ensuring his return to power. “Delhiites are eagerly waiting for elections to bring back Arvind Kejriwal as their CM. They know he is an honest leader who has consistently worked for the welfare of the people despite challenges. They want to see him continue his work for a better Delhi,” said Manish Sisodia as slogans of ‘Imaandari Ki Kya Pehchan, Kejriwal aur Jhaadu Nishaan’ echoed throughout Rithala. AAP MLA Mohinder Goyal and other senior leaders and party workers were present during the event.
The Padyatra saw enthusiastic participation from local residents, who expressed frustration over what they described as the BJP’s continuous attempts to derail Arvind Kejriwal’s efforts to improve education, healthcare, and infrastructure in the city. The slogans heard during the Padyatra reflected the sentiment on the streets of Delhi, as people from all walks of life gathered to show their unwavering support for Arvind Kejriwal and his government.
While directly interacting with the people in Rithala, Manish Sisodia, said that his ‘padyatras’ are receiving overwhelming support. He said, “People are saying to me ‘win and be our Education Minister again.’Delhiites are waiting for the assembly elections to vote for Arvind Kejriwal and affirm his honesty by making him the Chief Minister.
Speaking about preparations for the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections, the Former Deputy CM asserted that the people of Delhi are already prepared for the election. The public has seen how an honest person like Arvind Kejriwal was maligned, and they will teach the BJP a lesson for such accusations. Arvind Kejriwal was working for Delhiites, but the BJP tried to halt their progress.
“All kinds of work are in progress since he is back,” he added. Addressing the repair of Delhi’s roads, he mentioned that Arvind Kejriwal has directed the entire government to finish all road repairs by Diwali and to speed up any pending work.
