After five months behind bars in a fabricated case, Delhi CM and AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal made his first public appearance on Saturday, visiting the iconic Hanuman temple in Connaught Place. Accompanied by his wife Sunita Kejriwal, he sought blessings from Bajrang Bali for the well-being and prosperity of all. The temple’s Mahant welcomed him with a tilak, presenting the Delhi Chief Minister with Bajrang Bali’s mace and a sacred triangular flag.
After this, the Chief Minister meditated with his wife and offered water to ‘Shivling’. During this, former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, MP Sanjay Singh, Cabinet Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj and many other senior leaders also worshiped Bajrang Bali.
CM Arvind Kejriwal shared a video of his Bajrang Bali darshan on his ‘X’ handle (erstwhile Twitter), stating: “Today, along with my wife Sunita Kejriwal and other companions, I visited the ancient Hanuman temple in Connaught Place and worshiped Lord Hanuman and received his blessings. In this fight against injustice, Lord Hanuman’s blessings have always been with us. I prayed to the Lord for everyone’s happiness and prosperity. May the Lord keep this courage in all of us in this fight to save the country.”
The AAP shared a video and photo of CM Arvind Kejriwal and his wife and other party leaders offering prayers at Hanuman temple on its official X handle. The party states: “CM Arvind Kejriwal, who came out of jail after fighting a fake case and dictatorship, prayed for the peace and happiness of all the country people by visiting and worshipping Anjani Putra Hanuman Ji and Lord Bholenath Ji in the ancient Hanuman temple of Connaught Place.
“It was with the blessings of Lord Hanuman that Arvind Kejriwal fought strongly against the dictator even in jail. During this, Chief Minister’s wife Sunita Kejriwal, former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, MP Sanjay Singh, Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj also took blessings by offering prayers,” AAP’s post concluded.
At the same time, senior AAP leader and former Deputy CM of Delhi Manish Sisodia also shared some snippets on his X handle. After quoting a couplet from the Hanuman Chalisa, he writes in his post, “Today, I visited the ancient Hanuman temple in Delhi with Arvind Kejriwal and took blessings of Hanuman ji. It is the grace of Hanuman ji, due to which, despite all the conspiracies, Arvind Kejriwal and all of us are among you all. May Lord Bajrangbali keep his blessings on all the people of Delhi and remove the troubles of everyone.”
