Senior AAP leader and former Deputy CM of Delhi Manish Sisodia’s padyatra is drawing overwhelming support, with crowds in Model Town showering him with flowers and garlands, as his 12th padyatra reaches the Model Town assembly constituency. As the former Deputy CM directly engaged with the public, he declared that only Arvind Kejriwal can deliver quality schools, hospitals, and electricity across the country. He highlighted the BJP’s conspiracies of jailing AAP leaders on false charges to stall Delhi’s progress, but asserted that their conspiracy has failed. With Arvind Kejriwal’s release, Manish Sisodia promised that the pace of development will accelerate.
Former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia’s padyatra has been going on since August 16. After coming out of jail, he is meeting the people of Delhi through padyatra and is exposing the conspiracies of BJP in front of the people. The padyatra which started from Greater Kailash on August 16 is getting tremendous support from the people. Huge crowds are gathering in the padyatra and people are meeting Manish Sisodia and giving him their love and support.
When his 12th padyatra reached Model Town on Friday, AAP MLA Akhilesh Pati Tripathi and supporters welcomed him with great warmth. During this, the supporters raised slogans like ‘Manish Sisodia has come, Kejriwal will also come’, ‘We have worked, we will work’, ‘Bhrashtachar ka ek hi kaal, Kejriwal-Kejriwal’ (Corruption has only one end, Kejriwal-Kejriwal). During this time, Manish Sisodia also visited a local Lord Hanuman and Vishnu temple, where he offered prayers for the well-being of Delhi and its people.
During the padyatra in Model Town, Manish Sisodia said that students from nearby areas and across the country come here to study in Delhi University. During the padyatra, we met students, youth, elderly and people at the Kamla Nagar market. Everyone is feeling strongly that BJP had put Arvind Kejriwal, me and all the senior leaders of AAP in jail by trapping them in false cases. “Everyone is believing that BJP is committing atrocities on AAP leaders. BJP has power, so these people are continuously misusing power and central investigation agencies,” he asserted.
The former Deputy CM of Delhi further added that the way this case is falling flat in the Supreme Court, people of the entire country including Delhi are now able to understand this very easily and this thought is coming in everyone’s mind that if the Supreme Court is making such big comments while granting bail, then this case will not last even a second in the trial. This matter was only till bail. Now I have got bail.
“In a way, this whole case was false, this thing has now almost been proved. Now I am among the people of Delhi and now the people are waiting for Arvind Kejriwal. All the people of Delhi are waiting for Arvind Kejriwal with great fervor. People are saying that Arvind Kejriwal has done a lot of work in Delhi and when he comes out, he will do more work,” he added.
Manish Sisodia said that the way BJP put Arvind Kejriwal, me and Sanjay Singh in jail, today the people involved in the Model Town padyatra are accepting that BJP had done wrong. BJP had conspired to stop the work of the people of Delhi by misusing the agency and power. But now it will not be successful. Now I am out and soon Arvind Kejriwal will also come. The work of the people of Delhi will now move forward.
The senior AAP leader shared, “There is tremendous enthusiasm among the people of Delhi about the padyatra. People are hugging with a lot of love and respect and asking about Arvind Kejriwal’s health. People now know that this matter has collapsed in the court and BJP’s conspiracy has been exposed. The remaining lies of BJP will be exposed during the trial.”
The Former Deputy CM of Delhi mentioned that people of the entire country including Delhi believe that if anyone can fight corruption, it is only Arvind Kejriwal. Only Arvind Kejriwal can provide good schools, hospitals, electricity, jobs and reduce inflation in the country. People are saying that for 8.5 years, Arvind Kejriwal worked very diligently in Delhi. Due to the conspiracies of the BJP, work has been affected for the last one year. But now after Arvind Kejriwal’s arrival, all the work will be done swiftly.
Manish Sisodia said, “I was in jail, some people used to say that you do not have any worries. When I came out, the BJP people started saying that this Manish Sisodia has come out smiling. I came out smiling because I have not done anything wrong. A person who has done something wrong gets upset while sitting in jail. But I knew that I would get bail, because I am right. I have not done anything wrong. That is why I neither broke nor bowed down. Rather, I have become stronger from within. And the reason behind this strength was all our workers who were fighting strongly for me outside.”
“In the last 10 years we have seen how BJP has toppled many governments including Maharashtra, Uttarakhand, Arunachal Pradesh and broken parties by sending ED and CBI. A false notice was given to four MLAs of a party and the whole party fell apart like a pack of cards, notices were sent to some ministers and the whole government fell. The AAP workers should be proud of themselves that when government agencies like ED and CBI are being used only to topple governments and break parties, AAP is the only party that did not break or bow down. This is the power of Delhiites, who love Arvind Kejriwal very much. He too will be among us very soon,” stated Manish Sisodia.
Huge crowd gathered in Manish Sisodia’s padyatra in Model Town
A huge number of supporters gathered in the padyatra of former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia who reached Model Town. People welcomed him with garlands and sashes. Some supporters made him wear a turban and presented him with Hanuman ji’s gada (mace). Manish Sisodia was talking to women, elderly, children, youth and shopkeepers in the padyatra. During this, people shook hands with him and took pictures.
People said, ‘We miss Arvind Kejriwal a lot’
Delhiites were seen very angry and upset with the BJP for sending CM Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia to jail during the padyatra. People said that Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia were wronged. We miss our Chief Minister a lot. At the same time, an elderly man became emotional after meeting Manish Sisodia and expressed that seeing him out of jail brought tears of happiness in his eyes. On this, Manish Sisodia said, “I have come out of jail, now soon Kejriwal will also be out. Now everything will be fine.”
School children welcomed him with roses
A large number of school children reached to meet former Education Minister Manish Sisodia during the padyatra. Children gave him roses and said ‘Welcome Back Sir’. Many children touched his feet. Manish Sisodia blessed the children by placing his hand on their heads and asked about their studies and school. During this, the children also took selfies with him.

Aam Aadmi Party and Arvind Kejriwal are getting a lot of love from the people of Delhi. During the padyatra, people praised the Kejriwal government and said that the work done by the Kejriwal government in Delhi has not been done by any other party before.
