“When I was in jail, I would pray to God that the way the Bharatiya Janata Party is hatching conspiracies, only two things would work in such a situation: grace of God and the country’s constitution.,” said Manish Sisodia, former deputy chief minister, Delhi, who was in Amritsar to pay obeisance at Sri Harmandir Sahib.
Manish Sisodia, the father of education revolution, arrived on his first visit to Punjab on Sunday after coming out of jail. On reaching Amritsar airport, Punjab Cabinet Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal and senior leaders of Aam Aadmi Party welcomed him very warmly. Manish Sisodia was accompanied by his family.
Accompanied by Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann, Manish Sisodia and his family first went to bow at Sri Harmandir Sahib and then visited the Durgiana temple.
After paying obeisance along with Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann at the Harmandir sahib, Manish Sisodia told media persons that he felt fortunate that he got a chance to offer prayer at the Darbar Sahib. “Even when I was in jail for 17 months and was fighting for truth against the lies and conspiracies, I always prayed that truth must win, and truth won. By the grace of God, I got justice through supreme court order and the country’s constitution,” he said.
Manish Sisodia said after discussing it with Mann saheb, it was decided that first of all, I will pay obeisance at Sachkhand. So, I am here with my family. “I prayed to almighty that righteous people must win and those who are doing wrong things must be defeated. I prayed for Kejriwal saheb too today that he should come out of jail at the earliest, truth must prevail in his case also,” said Manish Sisodia, former deputy chief minister, Delhi, who was in Amritsar to pay obeisance at Sri Harmandir Sahib.
Manish Sisodia said this is sachkhand, here everyone will see truth win. There might be some delay, but truth will finally win. “I have been coming here and today I felt that I am here among my brothers and sisters. My elder brother, Mann saheb, who is a family, and my family from Delhi has also come here and we paid obeisance. Politics and government have their own importance, but the most important is family. And I am grateful to God that he gave us strength despite various conspiracies and our party stands united as a family in these trying times,” he said.
Earlier, talking to the media at the airport on his arrival in Amritsar in the morning, Manish Sisodia said when I was in jail, I would remember the people of Punjab while watching them on TV and miss them and the AAP team. I would feel happy to see them in action that they were doing a good work. The Punjab government under the leadership of CM Mann saheb and the entire party is doing a wonderful job.
Manish Sisodia said when I was in jail, I would pray to God that the way the Bharatiya Janata Party is hatching conspiracies, only two things would work in such a situation: grace of God and the country’s constitution.
“I am happy that by the grace of God I came out of jail and soon Arvind Kejriwal will be out. With the power of our country’s constitution, the conspiracies of the BJP were unsuccessful, and I came out of jail. While I was in jail, I had prayed to God and had avowed to pay my obeisance at the Darbar sahib and today I am here,” said the former deputy chief minister of Delhi.
During his visit to Amritsar today, Manish Sisodia also visited Shri Durgiana Mandir whose architecture is similar to the Harmandir Sahib.
