In support of AAP National Convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, the INDIA alliance will hold a massive demonstration against the dictatorial Modi government at the Centre on July 30 at Jantar Mantar.
Giving this information, AAP National General Secretary (Organization) Dr Sandeep Pathak said that the tendencies of dictatorial rulers are well known that they take someone prisoner due to their political animosity. Today Arvind Kejriwal is also a political prisoner, and efforts are being made to scare him, but he is not going to be afraid. Today the question is not about AAP or Arvind Kejriwal, but to save the country by stopping the dictatorship of a dictator. For this, all the constituent parties of the INDIA alliance will gather on one platform at Jantar Mantar on July 30.
Addressing media persons here today, Aam Aadmi Party National General Secretary (Organisation) Dr Sandeep Pathak said Arvind Kejriwal is a chronic diabetic patient and he has been suffering from diabetes for almost 30 years. There are two conditions of diabetes: one is when the sugar level increases, and the other is when the sugar level decreases. Increase in sugar level is a problem, but when the sugar level goes down, it is a very dangerous condition. When the sugar level drops, the sugar patient immediately gets dizzy and unconscious and if they are not recovered immediately from the unconscious state, they go into a coma. Going into a coma means that the person immediately becomes unconscious and after becoming unconscious, he does not have any opportunity to raise their sugar level.
“From June 3 to July 7 (during his incarceration), CM Arvind Kejriwal’s sugar level has gone 34 times below 50 mg/dL or up to 50 mg/dL, which is a matter of great concern. And this concern becomes more serious as he is the popularly elected Chief Minister of this country on whom the political future of this country depends, such a person whom millions of people consider their ideal. It is a very serious matter that such a person is kept captive inside the jail in a fluctuating state of sugar in this manner,” he said.
Criticizing the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Lieutenant Governor (LG) for not understanding the gravity of the situation, Dr Sandeep Pathak said, “With respect and all humility, I would like to tell them that you do not have any domain expertise in this subject. Making such statements on a person’s medical condition that Arvind Kejriwal is deliberately reducing his sugar level is wrong. Your post is constitutional, and everyone has to maintain the dignity of this constitutional post. Every word spoken by you is important. You are saying that Arvind Kejriwal deliberately lowers his sugar level. No person can deliberately lower his sugar level and in that situation, especially when he is confined in jail. If the sugar level suddenly goes down, he can faint, he cannot recover.”
The AAP National General Secretary (Organisation) said this is not such a disease that if the sugar level goes down, then you go to the hospital, you will get well and then come back. An educated person has this much understanding and LG (must know this as he) is sitting on a constitutional post. Especially to the BJP, I would like to say that if you are not able to understand this thing, then you should consult an educated person or a doctor on this matter, he added.
Talking about the judgment given by the Special PMLA Court and then the Supreme Court in the CM Arvind Kejriwal’s case, Dr Sandeep Pathak said that the PMLA Special Court and the Supreme Court have given the decision to grant bail to Arvind Kejriwal. “Nobody gets bail like this in a PMLA case. After examining all the facts, when the court is satisfied that there has been no wrongdoing, then it grants bail. That is why first the PMLA Court and later the Supreme Court have clearly written in their decision that no wrongdoing has been found in this so far, hence Arvind Kejriwal is granted bail,” he said.
The AAP National General Secretary (Organisation) said after this, Arvind Kejriwal was arrested by sending the CBI. If the purpose of these agencies is not to get justice to anyone, then what is their purpose? “Doesn’t it seem that Arvind Kejriwal is being forcibly imprisoned and tortured, and his life is being played with,” he said.
Dr Sandeep Pathak said that when any dictator rules around the world, it is in the special nature of dictatorship that they make someone a political prisoner due to political animosity. Arvind Kejriwal is also a political prisoner today. The tendencies of dictatorial rulers with political prisoners are well known. This is nothing new. “A person who started considering himself as an incarnation of God is taking political revenge by making Arvind Kejriwal a political prisoner. Efforts are being made to scare Arvind Kejriwal that if he raises his voice against us, we will keep him in jail and lower his glucose level and can do anything to him. This is how conspiracies are being hatched against him,” said the AAP Rajya Sabha MP.
Dr Sandeep Pathak said that this is not a matter of a single person or a party, but it is a matter of the system of the country. If politics happens like this, then why would anyone come into politics? Why would anyone try to form a political party and why would anyone try to fight against such a big nexus. “Today, this question is not about Arvind Kejriwal or AAP, but about the system of the country. This question is about stopping the dictatorship of a dictator. Therefore, all the constituent parties of the INDIA alliance have considered this and there is a consensus that this is not a question of any one party or person, but of the country. The country cannot be ruined by leaving the system to the will of any one person,” he said.
Dr Sandeep Pathak said on July 30, a protest will be held at Jantar Mantar in Delhi on behalf of the INDIA alliance. “The heads of all the constituent parties of the INDIA alliance have agreed to this protest. My appeal to the people of the country is whether you support any political party or person or not, but you must support the country. If you support the country and the fairness of the country’s systems, then you will have to raise your voice. Otherwise, it will be too late and after it is too late, you will not have any system or solution left to change the situation,” he concluded.
