सोमवार को आम आदमी पार्टी के राज्यसभा सांसद संजय सिंह के आवास पर हुई एक प्रेस वार्ता के दौरान कांग्रेस प्रदेश इकाई के कई बड़े नेता आम आदमी पार्टी में शामिल हुए, जिनमें मुख्य रूप से पंकज तिवारी- जिला कांग्रेस डेलीगेट, असलम- ब्लॉक अध्यक्ष कांग्रेस कमेटी, सलाउद्दीन- महासचिव ब्लॉक कांग्रेस सोनिया विहार, मोहम्मद शफीकुद्दीन- जिला कांग्रेस डेलीगेट करावल नगर, सियाराम मिश्रा पूर्व प्रधान सोनिया विहार शामिल हुए। कार्यक्रम में आम आदमी पार्टी के नेता दिलीप पांडे एवं दुर्गेश पाठक भी मौजूद रहे।
कार्यक्रम के दौरान प्रेस वार्ता को संबोधित करते हुए संजय सिंह ने कहा कि यह सभी लोग अपने-अपने क्षेत्रों में मान सम्मान रखने वाले व्यक्ति हैं। सभी लोग अपने अपने स्तर पर, लंबे समय से दिल्ली की जनता की सेवा में लगे हुए हैं। पिछले 5 सालों में आम आदमी पार्टी की दिल्ली सरकार ने जनता के हित में जो काम किए हैं, उन कामों से प्रभावित होकर इन सभी लोगों ने आम आदमी पार्टी में शामिल होने का निर्णय लिया है। इन सभी लोगों के पार्टी में शामिल होने से पार्टी को मजबूती मिलेगी। संजय सिंह ने सभी लोगों को आम आदमी पार्टी की टोपी और पटका पहनाकर सभी का पार्टी में स्वागत किया।
कांग्रेस की जिला स्तरीय कमेटी से जुड़े हुए अन्य और कई कार्यकर्ता जैसे पंकज मिश्रा, परवेज अहमद, अनिल मिश्रा, नसीम अहमद, बरकतुल्लाह, मुस्ताक अहमद, जमाल अहमद, मुकेश मुखिया, नरेंद्र सिंह चौहान, कलीम अख्तर आदि भी पार्टी में शामिल हुए।
Prominent leaders of Delhi Pradesh Congress joined the Aam Aadmi Party

On Monday many prominent leaders of Delhi Pradesh Congress joined the Aam Aadmi Party in the presence of senior AAP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Mr Sanjay Singh. The names include Pankaj Tiwari – District Congress Delegate, Aslam – Block President of Congress, Salauddin – General Secretary Block Congress, Sonia Vihar, Mohammad Shafiquddin – District Congress Delegate Karawal Nagar and Siyaram Mishra among others. AAP leaders Mr Dilip Pandey and Durgesh Pathak were also present in the program.
Addressing the press conference during the program, Mr Sanjay Singh said, “These prominent leaders of the Congress party have worked hard for the welfare of the people and very well known in their field of work. These leaders have witnessed and got influenced by the work done by the Delhi government in the last 5 years and they have decided to join the AAP. This will strengthen the work of the AAP.”
Many other activists associated with the district-level committee of Congress such as Pankaj Mishra, Parvez Ahmed, Anil Mishra, Naseem Ahmed, Barkatullah, Mustak Ahmed, Jamal Ahmed, Mukesh Mukhiya, Narendra Singh Chauhan, Kalim Akhtar etc. also joined the party.
