A delegation of Jammu & Kashmir Legislative Assembly Ethics Committee called on the Chief Minister, Shri Arvind Kejriwal at the Delhi Secretariat on Friday.
Led by the Committee chairman Mr Abdul Rahim Rather, the delegation also visited the renovated Delhi government schools and met the Delhi Assembly Speaker, Shri Ram Niwas Goel.
The J&K MLAs, in their meeting with the Chief Minister sought details about the Delhi government initiatives in Education and Health sectors.
The visiting MLAs asked the CM about the implementation of free medicines and diagnostic tests scheme in Delhi government hospitals.
The visiting delegation expressed a keen interest in how the Delhi government is sustaining this public welfare measure and how it is coping with the rush at its hospitals.
The MLAs later went to the Sarvodya Bal Vidyalaya, Rouse Avenue ITO and took a round of the school. They saw the smart classrooms, modern sports facilities, multi purpose hall and other refurbished infrastructure of the school.

नई दिल्ली। जम्मू-कश्मीर के 4 विधायकों के एक प्रतिनिधिमंडल ने शुक्रवार को दिल्ली सचिवालय में मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल से मुलाकात की। इसके बाद इस प्रतिनिधिमंडल ने कुछ सरकारी स्कूलों का दौरा किया। ये विधायक- अब्दुल रहीम राठर, सी.एम. शरूरी,माजिद भट और नीलम कुमार लिंगाय- जम्मू-कश्मीर विधानसभा में एथिक्स कमेटी के सदस्य हैं। मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल के साथ मुलाकात में दिल्ली में गर्वनेंस, एजुकेशन, हेल्थ सेक्टर में हुए कामों पर चर्चा हुई। जम्मू-कश्मीर के इन विधायकों ने दिल्ली में एजुकेशन सेक्टर में हुए काम के बारे में काफी कुछ सुना हुआ था,इसलिए उन्होंने यहां के सरकारी स्कूलों को देखने की इच्छा जताई। सबसे पहले प्रतिनिधिमंडल के सदस्य राउज एवेन्यू स्थित सरकारी स्कूल में गये जहां स्मार्ट क्लासरूम,नर्सरी क्लासरूम्स, आधुनिक सुख-सुविधाओं से युक्त मल्टीपरपज हॉल देखकर काफी प्रभावित हुए। मुख्यमंत्री से मुलाकात और स्कूलों के दौरे के बाद ये प्रतिनिधिमंडल के सदस्य दिल्ली विधानसभा भी गए।
