New Delhi– Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, Shri Manish Sisodia inaugurated Zonal Revenue Office (ZRO), Delhi Jal Board in front of Ras Vihar, Patparganj, Delhi here on Monday.
The newly set up revenue office will be catering to the complaints of the people on bill-related issues of the Delhi Jal Board. Shri Manish Sisodia who is also sitting Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) of Patparganj area spoke about the ease of access this office will be providing to people from areas like Mayur Vihar phase 1 and 2.
“ Residents of the nearby areas will find it more convenient to reach this zonal revenue office. It is more accessible for the general public,” said Shri Manish Sisodia.
Dy CM also said that officers at the ZRO should strive to provide quality services to the people. The zonal revenue office that is located in front of Ras Vihar, Narwana Road, Mandawali has zonal revenue officers jointly overseeing its operations along with those of other areas.
“Specific revenue officers will be appointed soon to work exclusively from this office.Till then, the Assistant Section Officer(ASO) will be assisting them in providing satisfactory resolutions to the public,” said Dy CM Manish Sisodia
Shri Manish Sisodia was the chief guest at the inauguration ceremony that took place on November 18, 2019, 10:00 AM in Patparganj,Delhi.
Addressing the officers present at the event, he said, “I hope that people return with satisfactory responses and resolved issues from here.The real purpose of setting up this revenue office is to cater to the needs of the public, making it accessible to them, so that they can conveniently pay a visit if need be. Our officers should be sensitive towards the issue of the people and ensure quality services at all times. We should work towards building the trust of the public so that they don’t return dissatisfied. A smile and a pleasant welcome will go a long way in winning their hearts.”
In an effort to help the people of the Patparganj area to easily register their bill-related issues pertaining to Jal board, this zonal revenue office has been set up by the Delhi government.
